18.00 British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Stakes FANTASY FORCE produced a solid debut effort when third at York and that form is expected to work out well. With more to come, don’t be surprised to see him go well.

Four to consider at Epsom: Group races

Royal Playwright (Diomed Stakes) Persica beat Ice Max (second) and ROYAL PLAYWRIGHT (fourth) in this race last year but I’m interested in the latter, who wasn’t far behind the pair and could bridge the gap.

    Pontefract Place 6 Preview | 2nd June

14.48 Gieves And Hawkes Supports The YCC Maiden Stakes ALMA LATINA has made a positive start to her career, shaping well behind some promising sorts at Sandown and Salisbury. Her trainer has an excellent record at this course so she is undoubtedly the one to beat.

    Newbury Place 6 Preview | 1st June

14.15 Get 100-1 On England At BetVictor EBF Maiden Fillies’ Stakes  BAI TONG improved from her debut fifth to finish second when last seen and must have a squeak with the experience under her belt.

    Fakenham Place 6 Preview | 31st May

14.35 fakenhamdogfield.co.uk Novices’ Handicap Hurdle It’s hard to be confident about any of these but TUBA has been in relentless form since December on the Flat, winning three times, including the last two times and might be able to make the most of this fantastic opportunity.

  • Racing

    Carlisle Place 6 Preview | 30th May

13.30 Betway Handicap CLAYMORE is dangerously well handicapped on the pick of his form being a former Group 3 winner and could outrun his odds. CASTLE STUART has caught the eye on all of his last three starts, including when sixth at York when last seen and has a fair chance off a pound lower figure if enjoying a smooth passage (wasn’t the case last time).

  • Racing

    Brighton Place 6 Preview | 29th May

14.20 Weatherbys Flat Horses To Follow Handicap GREY HORIZON posted a solid third in a stronger race at Windsor when last seen and a reproduction should be able to see him prove hard to beat. Being 3lb lower than when last successful, I’m expecting him to be heavily involved in the opener.

  • Racing

    Sandown Place 6 Preview | 28th May

17.10 Star Sports Handicap OUR CODY will improve for the run but she’s markedly down in grade for her reappearance and must be considered a contender. THE LOST SOCK is another with his sights lowered and could have a part to play, while AKIRRA has a chance given how well his jockey and rider do when teaming up.

  • Racing

    Beverley Place 6 Preview | 27th May

14.15 Happy Birthday Joe McCabe Claiming Stakes PENNY ARCADE should be able to take the opener. She only found one too good when second at Thirsk last time out and should be able to make her experience count by getting the job done.

  • Racing

    Redcar Place 6 Preview | 26th May

14.20 racingtv.com EBF Restricted Maiden Fillies’ Stakes BELLA LUCIA and FREEDOM FLAME both stayed on strongly once the Penney dropped on their debuts to finish third (at Beverley) and fourth (Wolverhampton) and should be able to put that experience to good use and pose a threat.

  • Racing

    Cartmel Place 6 Preview | 25th May

13.38 Hadwins Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle MIGHTY FLEUR benefitted for the application of cheekpieces under a positive ride when opening her account at Fakenham last time out. She ran really well on her sole previous course start and is fancied to take the opener under the champion.
