14.30 Clearanswer Call Centres Maiden Fillies’ Stakes FOOD FOR THOUGHT sets a good standard based on her latest, narrow second to the smart Sacred Ground at Yarmouth. The winner has advertised the form since with a second in a Listed event, so a Royal winner could be very much on the cards in the opener.

    Southwell Place 6 Preview | 11th May

14.42 Dog Friendly Raceday Tues 2nd June Handicap Chase HUCKLEBERRY STING made the perfect chase debut when scoring at Bangor by five lengths, having jumped and travelled well. He’s up 10lb in the handicap, but that was impressive and I see no reason why he cannot remain unbeaten.

    Ludlow Place 6 Preview | 10th May

14.17 Radnor Hills Water Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle FIRST CANDIDATE really enjoyed being ridden positively last time out at Haydock, winning by nine lengths and is very difficult to oppose under the penalty.

    Lingfield Place 6 Preview | 9th May

12.55 William Hill Epic Boosts Handicap TWISTING PHYSICS was really progressive last season and ran a nice race on his comeback when sixth at Newbury. With that run in the locker, a bold bid should be on the cards.

    Chester Place 6 Preview | 8th May

13.30 CAA Stellar Great Cheshire Handicap RESPOND can take the opener. He has some strong form in the book and backed up his penultimate win with a fine third at Kempton when last seen. He is preferred to Whip Cracker, who has been given a poor slot in stall twelve.

    Chester Place 6 Preview | 7th May

13.30 CAA Stellar Handicap RUBY’S PROFIT has a very good draw to attack from the gate. She’s seen to best effect under positive tactics and can find herself back on her last winning mark. She went very close at this meeting last year and has every chance of going one better with a repeat showing given she will be at peak-fitness following two runs this season.

    Chester Win 6 Preview | 6th May

13.30 CAA Stellar Lily Agnes EBF Conditions Stakes FINAL APPEAL went close on debut before easily going one better at Wolverhampton. He should have more to come for a stable that consistently does well, so he’s a player.

    Hereford Place 6 Preview | 5th May

17.42 CopyBet Supporting UK Racing Handicap Chase MAXIMUM OFFERS returned as a wide-margin winner over C&D when last seen, improving from his two previous efforts, so off only a 2lb higher mark, Jamie Snowden’s charge looks capable of doubling his tally over timber.

    Fakenham Win 6 Preview | 4th May

14.18 Each The Nook Novices’ Handicap Hurdle RISK IT ALL finished a good second on his previous start here and has placed two more times since. He is finding it difficult to win but this is winnable! PATH OF STARS has no weight on her back though and has experience of this course, so she has to come under consideration.

    Newmarket Place 6 Preview | 3rd May

13.45 Oliver Brown Pretty Polly Stakes (Fillies’ Listed) ESNA is the one I like in the opener. She beat a subsequent Listed winner on her penultimate start and ran a really good race when fourth in a French Group 1 when last seen.

    Newmarket Place 6 Preview | 2nd May

13.10 Oddschecker Ellen Chaloner Stakes (Fillies’ & Mares’ Listed) I am strong on the chances of SAYIDAH DARIYAN in the opener. She overcame a troubled passage to easily collect a Group 3 event at York last seen, sandwiched in between a fourth-place finish in the Group 1 Commonwealth Cup and a seventh place in the Group 1 Nunthorpe Stakes.
