12.05 Timeform Novices’ Handicap Chase BARLOVENTO is proving to be largely consistent and was a game winner at Kempton when last seen. He is only 4lb higher with more to come, so he should go well.

12.28 Pertemps Network Novices’ Handicap Chase TOUQUET has done well in this sphere so far and won with plenty in hand over C&D last month. The handicapper has only raised his mark by 5lb, so with improvement to come, Nick Gifford’s charge is fancied to double his tally in the opener.
