Warwick Place 6 preview | 22nd March
13.40 – Join Racing TV Now Maiden Hurdle
Despite still being beaten along way into third, BENEFACT made some nice late progress to make the frame behind two nice prospects at Newbury under a tentative ride and, with further progress likely, Nicky Henderson’s charge should go well. GREATNESS AWAITS ran a good race earlier this month when second and is feared most.
Selections: BENEFACT, GREATNESS AWAITS
14.15 – Watch On Racing TV Novices’ Hurdle
HERMINO AA finished a good second on his debut in a bumper and has made the transition to hurdling in good style, with a win and two placed efforts from just three starts. This is less taxing than the race he competed in last time, so Gary Moore’s charge should take all of the beating and is a worthy favourite.
Selections: HERMINO AA

ELMOUNT got off the mark at the third time of asking for this stable three weeks ago, where he jumped well en route to winning comfortably from the front. He is up 5Ib but should go well, while EROS is consistent and has made the frame in four of his last five starts. He could easily do so again from a mark that’s within his compass.
Selections: ELMOUNT, EROS
15.25 – Bet At racingtv.com Handicap Hurdle
SWINGING LONDON is yet to win a handicap but his sixth in the Boodles last year is good form and his latest second behind a well-treated horse left the impression his turn might be near. I think he is a huge player off only a 1Ib higher mark here and is the sole vote for this race.
Selections: SWINGING LONDON
16.00 – Allen Family Thank Macmillan Cancer Support Handicap Chase
DANILO D’AIRY has failed to even finish a race the last three times but he’s unbeaten in two starts at this course and his reappearance effort was in a much stronger race than this one. He bolted up the last time he was seen in this grade, so he has to be of interest. GOOD WORK deserves a change of fortune after four seconds and should be thereabouts.
Selections: DANILO D’AIRY, GOOD WORK
16.35 – Racing TV Profits Returned To Racing Handicap Hurdle
The last time SAMTARA competed in this grade was when a neck second off this exact mark more than two years ago. All of his efforts since have been in stronger company and his latest fifth wasn’t as bad as the beaten margin suggested. He could make the placings, while FAME AND CONCRETE is surely capable off this mark.
Selections: SAMTARA, FAME AND CONCRETE
