Royal Ascot Betting Preview
14.30 – Queen Mary Stakes (Fillies’ Group 2) – 5f
ALL THE TIME is connections only runner on day two at the meeting and looked very good when winning on debut at Nottingham. She could go well at a big price from a good draw. OLIVIA MARALDA was an expensive purchase and could run well under SDS from stall one, while ONE MORE OLLY scored with a bit to spare on debut and shouldn’t be discounted under Ryan Moore.

15.05 – Queen’s Vase (Group 2) – 1m6f
RULER LEGEND got off the mark in good style last time and connections have booked Jamie Spencer to ride here. He’s upped in distance but this could signal improvement and he’s a player at appealing odds. ELDAR ELDAROV is unbeaten in two starts and remains open to improvement over this distance so should be thereabouts.

15.40 – Prince Of Wales’s Stakes (Group 1) (British Champions Series) – 1m1f
Bay Bridge is all the rage for this event and rightfully so on the back of four wins including an impressive showing last time but he might meet his match in the form of SHAHRYAR. This Japanese raider has already taken two Group 1 events and did the job well in Meydan last time when beating some very good horses. He looks capable of providing Japan with a first Royal Ascot winner.

16.20 – Duke Of Cambridge Stakes (Fillies And Mares’ Group 2) (Str) – 1m
SAFFRON BEACH has to carry a penalty but she’s already succeeded at the highest level and comfortably put Mother Earth in her place in the Sun Chariot. She’s a massive player under William Buick, while MOTHER EARTH looks a solid alternative option and should be able to give the former a race if back to her best.

17.00 – Royal Hunt Cup (Heritage Handicap) (Str) – 1m
REBEL TERRITORY won nicely the last day and has the makings to go well in a big-field race of this nature so could be up to making a challenge late on under Jim Crowley for connections who won this five years ago. LEGEND OF DUBAI is seeking a hat-trick and is feared, while INTELLOGENT has shaped exceptionally well on two starts in the UK and has a big chance of success under James Doyle.

17.35 – Windsor Castle Stakes (Listed) – 5f
EDDIE’S BOY scored with a bit to spare on debut and chased home a good prospect when last spotted. He could go well for Hollie Doyle and Archie Watson. ROCKET RODNEY outclassed his rivals last time when building on his promising second on debut and, while this is tough, he could make an impact.
