17.40 – Royal Equestrian Racing Club Maiden Hurdle – 2m
THORPENESS was stuffed in both his bumpers but has taken his form to a new level over hurdles, hitting the frame in each start. A bit more improvement will be required to win this but Dan Skelton does well at this course and his only runner on the card must have excellent claims under Bridget Andrews.

18.10 – Royal Equestrian Racing Club Maiden Hurdle – 2m
BORDERLINE made the frame in his first two bumper starts at this course and should be able to improve now that he has his sights set on hurdles. His trainer is in good form of late and this five-year-old should be capable of getting involved if his jumping can pass the test.

18.40 – Stratford Supporting Racing Staff Week Novices’ Handicap Hurdle – 2m2f
FOREVER A DOVE placed twice in bumpers and then scored easily on her hurdles debut. She wasn’t in the same form next time when only fourth but she has been given a fair mark based on her performances to date and Harry Cobden takes the ride. She shades the verdict as she drops in grade with a good chance of resuming winning ways.

19.10 – Saige Decking Ltd Handicap Chase – 2m
CRACKING DESTINY isn’t the force he once was but he predominantly tackles higher-grade events than this and should be much fitter from his decent return at Aintree when fourth. He’s one-from-one at this course and is 13 pounds below his last winning mark, so he could defy top-weight if he can produce something near his best.

19.40 – National Racehorse Week 9th-17th September Handicap Hurdle – 2m6f
PINK EYED PEDRO displayed his tough attitude to cash-in on a reduced mark at Southwell in this sphere last time. He was rated in the 140’s just a couple of years ago, so he’s more than capable of winning from this three pounds higher mark than last time. He is the one to beat in this weak contest.

20.10 – Visit racingtv.com Novices’ Handicap Chase – 2m3f
All of these arrive in decent form but the hat-trick seeking GO FOX could capitalise on the weight concession from the rest and was dominant in winning from the front here two weeks ago. This is a stronger race but the hat-trick could be imminent with more to come and the likelihood of another positive ride.
