Worcester Place 6 preview | 5th July
14.53 – FBC Manby Bowdler Handicap Chase – 2m7f
It’s hard to dispute how consistent DINDIN has been, who hardly ever runs a bad race and won comfortably over course-and-distance when last seen. He is the one they all have to beat but I’ll add in RON BURGUNDY, who’s placed twice off this mark, including here last time over track and trip and cannot be discounted.
Tips: DINDIN, RON BURGUNDY
15.23 – Celebrating The Life Of Matthew Field Handicap Chase – 2m4f
MOLE COURT has been in superb form since the start of the year, recording two wins and three placed efforts from his last five starts. He absolutely powered to success over course-and-distance three weeks ago by 13 lengths and an eight pound rise shouldn’t be enough to stop him winning again. Just in case the unexpected happens, I’ll cover him with BLACKJACKTENNESSEE.
Tips: MOLE COURT, BLACKJACKTENNESSEE
15.53 – Richard Newland Racing Mares’ Open NH Flat Race – 2m
FOUNTAINSPINKLADY ran well for a long way on her stable/rules debut in a bumper at Stratford and connections have appointed Sam Twiston-Davies to do the steering. She is connections’ only runner of the day and could find the necessary improvement to go close.
Tips: FOUNTAINSPINKLADY
16.23 – Lowes Garage Home Of MOT’s 30 Handicap Hurdle – 2m7f
COURT MASTER sneaks in here at the foot of the weights and although he was well beaten into second here last time, he is well-handicapped on his best form. All of his wins over fences have been off much higher marks and this will be only his fifth hurdles start. He has been given a good chance by the assessor.
Tips: COURT MASTER
16.58 – Get Pulling With PJ Nicholls SsangYong Novices’ Hurdle – 2m
MYRISTICA should be three-from-three over hurdles but even so, she’s won her last two starts impressively and David Pipe has found the mare a great opportunity to win again with more to come. She is surely going to rank higher judged on the evidence of her two wins and is strongly fancied to complete the hat-trick.
Tips: MYRISTICA
17.28 – Wacky Weekender Festival Pitchcroft 21-23rd July Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle – 2m4f
EATON LADY is the only last-time-out winner in the field who did well to overhaul a well-fancied Paul Nicholls’ runner at Uttoxeter. The seven-year-old ran in snatches but was strong at the finish and if she can race a bit more kindly, the follow-up could well be on the cards.
Tips: EATON LADY
