Salisbury Place 6 betting preview | June 22nd

Steven Dowler is taking on today’s Place 6 pool at Salisbury. Check out his preview below and if you agree with his selections, why not join forces with his Syndicate?

13.45 – Due Diligence Standing At Whitsbury Manor British EBF Blagrave Maiden Stakes – 6f

Not much form to go on in the opener but BAJAN BANDIT was an expensive yearling and is related to high-class sprinter Mecca’s Angel, so there’s lots to like about him on paper and he should go well. SEATTLE TIME is also nicely bred being a son of Time Test and could get involved at a big price on debut.

Selections: BAJAN BANDIT, SEATTLE TIME, LOYAL TOUCH

14.15 – Whitsbury Manor Stud Supporting Inspire Foundation Veterans’ Handicap – 5f

SON AND SANNIE has won two of his four starts this year and did well to score under Harry Davies at Chepstow last time. He’s feared most if in the same form here. LIHOU has won and placed multiple times off higher marks and could be about to strike under James Doyle.

Selections: SON AND SANNIE, LIHOU

14.45 – Sergei Prokofiev Standing At Whitsbury Manor Auction Stakes – 6f

BINGLEY CROCKER stayed on well to finish third on debut at Leicester under the assistance of Hayley Turner and should have more to come with that run under his belt. DELIRIOUS DREAM wasn’t beaten far over C&D last time when third and could be tough to beat under Andrea Atzeni.

Selections: BINGLEY CROCKER, DELIRIOUS DREAM

15.15 – Havana Grey Standing At Whitsbury Manor Handicap – 1m

DUBAI MIRAGE won’t find this easy giving weight to all rivals but he’s really consistent and is a must for the shortlist. He chased home subsequent Royal Ascot winner Dark Shift at Nottingham last time and could go one better with a similar performance here. VARIYANN should leave his return behind and be able to figure off a mark that’s within range. He’s also consistent.

Selections: DUBAI MIRAGE, VARIYANN

15.45 – Radcliffe & Co British EBF Maiden Stakes (GBB Race) – 1m1f

ASAASSI has shown promise in placing in both starts to date and should really come into his own now stepped up in distance. He’s also had wind surgery since his third back in December and his trainer has a good strike-rate at this course too. Despite conceding fitness to these, this son of Sea The Moon has been found a good opportunity to open his account.

Selections: ASAASSI

16.20 – Showcasing Standing At Whitsbury Manor Bibury Cup Handicap – 1m4f

ZAIN NIGHTS was pulled out of a race yesterday in favour of this one and that can pay dividends with victory under Harry Davies. He beat subsequent winner Lionel on his second career start and looks well-treated on that form. He can go one better than last time. AL AZHAR has won two of his last three and is next best.

Selections: ZAIN NIGHTS, AL AZHAR
