INVINCIBLE BOY shaped promisingly on both starts last season, including when third on debut at York, and there’s a fine chance more is to come. I think Richard Fahey’s charge is a big player from stall four. MILFORD GRANGE will improve from his debut third at Redcar and is another to consider with experience under his belt.
Tips: INVINCIBLE BOY & MILFORD GRANGE

The Richard Fahey-trained ARABIAN DESERT should prove difficult to beat. He improved with each start last season, which culminated with a second-place effort in a Group 3 event at Newbury. Down considerably in grade, Rossa Ryan should be able to steer him to success.
Tips: ARABIAN DESERT

CHARACTER TESTING has been running respectively over hurdles of late and is back on the Flat for the first time in a while. I think he’s quite well handicapped on the pick of his earlier form, so I can see him in the mix, while NOT FOR ME would have claims if able to get back to the form he showed early last year. I think he’s an interesting runner at big odds.
Tips: CHARACTER TESTING & NOT FOR ME

RAJAPOUR has been kept busy on the all-weather of late without reward. However, the six-year-old has become really well handicapped based on his old form in Ireland and could go well under Danny Tudhope.
MISSION COMMAND is one I really like. He caught my eye when third at Kempton last time out and made the places multiple times last year in stronger events off higher figures. He’s drawn quite nicely in stall six and his handler Jennie Candlish has been amongst the winners, which is a positive sign. Being her only runner, I’m confident he has the tools to make an impact.
Tips: RAJAPOUR & MISSION COMMAND
15.57 Ponte Premiership New For 2026 Handicap
KYLIAN is the class act in the field and could be up to defying top weight. He defied this mark at Wolverhampton in January of last year and has other big efforts to his name. He can run well under Jason Hart, who rides this course better than most. SPARTAN ARROW has Listed and Group wins in the book and has the box seat in stall 1, so he’s the other one that could get involved in what is a tricky event.
Tips: KYLIAN & SPARTAN ARROW
16.27 Tommy Hepple Memorial Handicap
FLEUR DE MER has made the frame on her last three starts on the all-weather and returns to the turf off the same mark as when second last time out. She looks poised to make an impact, while PRINCESS NYLA has gone well after a break in the past and is back on her last winning mark, so she could exceed market expectations.
Tips: FLEUR DE MER & PRINCESS NYLA
