Kempton Place 6 preview | 10th February

13.30 – Join Racing TV Now Conditional Jockeys’ Mares’ Handicap Hurdle – 2m

IORENS has finished second in both her starts over hurdles and the combination of recent wind surgery and an opening handicap debut mark of 109 could see her make a winning return after a few months break. PROGRESSIVE proved no match for a well-backed sort last time but has been eased a pound and should be competitive.

Selections: IORENS, PROGRESSIVE

14.00 – Every Race Live On Racing TV Novices’ Handicap Chase – 3m

The form of REILLY’s second on chase debut has worked out well with the winner running well to finish fourth in the Classic Chase at Warwick since. He couldn’t match that form at Chepstow but retains potential and is clear of these on official ratings, while SMOKING PIGEON won decisively when last spotted on his second chase start and has to be feared with more to come.

Selections: REILLY, SMOKING PIGEON

14.30 – Racing TV Profits Returned To Racing Novices’ Hurdle – 2m5f

This is a great opportunity for GAME WINNER to get off the mark at the third time of asking under rules. He shaped with a lot of promise when second on his hurdles at Exeter and will take a lot of beating. He should go one better, though PIPER TOM could develop into a decent horse over timber too and if the favourite underperforms, he will probably be the one to capitalise.

Selections: GAME WINNER, PIPER TOM

15.00 – Every Race Live On Racing TV Handicap Chase – 3m

A tricky race but KILLER KANE won on this card a year ago and defied this mark when won off this mark in a Listed event last March. If he can reproduce that form here, he would have excellent claims. MUMBO JUMBO gets weight all around and has shaped with promise in both chase starts to make the frame. He could be ready to open his account in this sphere.

Selections: KILLER KANE, MUMBO JUMBO

15.35 – Visit racingtv.com Handicap Hurdle – 2m5f

HARDY BOY landed back-to-back handicaps last season and while he hasn’t reproduced that form this season, he is back on a dangerous mark and the application of headgear might help him get back on track here. SAMI BEAR might have won but for unseating his rider at the last when last spotted and is taken to gain compensation in this race.

Selections: HARDY BOY, SAMI BEAR

16.10 – Bet At racingtv.com Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase – 2m2f

JAY JAY REILLY is a dual winner in this sphere and collected one of those at this course. He was beaten only a neck by Raffle Ticket last fine and should make a bold bid off only a two pounds higher mark in this race. ANY NEWS has yet to filly convince over fences but he is really well-treated based on his hurdles form and is worth one more chance.

Selections: JAY JAY REILLY, ANY NEWS
