Kelso Place 6 preview | 25th March

13.50 – BetVictor Go North Cab On Target Handicap Hurdle

IDIOICO ran well on his sole start over C&D when third last year and, having shaped well at Musselburgh last time when fourth, he could be competitive. OKAVANGO DELTA has shaped better than the beaten margins have suggested of late and might be an outsider to consider, while CORAL BLUE has been in good form of late with two wins and also enters calculations.

Selections: IDILICO, OKAVANGO DELTA, CORAL BLUE

14.25 – Schloss Roxburghe Hotel Handicap Hurdle

THEME TUNE hasn’t been foot-perfect in the jumping department but that hasn’t stopped him from recording back-to-back wins of late and has only been raised 4Ib for winning last time, which is fair. If his jumping holds together, he’s got a good chance of completing the hat-track, while FLOWER OF SCOTLAND is unbeaten in three starts here and she can’t be discounted from lower mark over hurdles.

Selections: THEME TUNE, FLOWER OF SCOTLAND

15.00 – BetVictor Herring Queen Series Final Mares’ Novices’ Handicap Hurdle

AUTUMN RETURN only found one too good on her handicap debut last time and has won three of her six starts in total. She should be suited to this course plus she is her trainer’s only runner, who has a good strike-rate here. She should be competitive, while BONTTAY has four wins and three seconds to her name and is a player in first-time cheekpieces.

Selections: AUTUMN RETURN, BONTTAY

15.35 – Make Your Best Bet At BetVictor Handicap Chase

HILL SIXTEEN has undergone wind surgery since last spotted and his reappearance third over course-and-distance reads well and he’s two pounds lower in this race. He is a major player on that piece form, while ELVIS MAIL has lots of form at this course and while he unseated his rider at Cheltenham last time, he is back over fences with a decent chance if he stays the longer distance.

Selections: HILL SIXTEEN, ELVIS MAIL

16.10 – Bet In-Running On Racing At BetVictor Novices’ Hurdle

BALLYGEARY has taken well to hurdles, in which he has won both starts and displayed a tough attitude to score at Doncaster last time. He has to concede a lot of weight to the remainder but he clearly has a lot of qualities and should prove hard to beat as he bids to complete his hat-trick.

Selections: BALLYGEARY

16.45 – Lengthen The Odds At BetVictor Handicap Chase

CEDAR HILL has been below his best the last twice but ran well on his reappearance and is 4Ib below his last winning mark. He also takes a drop in grade after contesting mostly better races than this and has leading claims should he return to his best. SAO hasn’t been able to make an impact in both starts this term but has fallen in the weights and is another dropping in grade.

Selections: CEDAR HILL, SAO
