Haydock Place 6 betting preview | September 2nd

13.53 – Arete Fillies’ Handicap – 1m3f

QOYA raised her game when she opened her account nine days ago in good style and while she now has to repeat that effort on the turf to win, that’s possible with more to come and Hollie Doyle in the saddle. PRIMI ORDINIS should also be included, who’s ran well behind good opponents the last two times and is the biggest threat to the favourite in the opener.

Selections: QOYA, PRIMI ORDINIS

14.28 – British EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes – 6f

KITAI shaped like a filly with enormous potential when narrowly denied by a half-a-length over C&D on debut and the winner has gone close since to advertise the form. She clearly has lots of attributes based upon her debut effort and, with Rossa Ryan taking over the reins, she could go one better. VIOLETA has made the frame in both starts to date and her latest third has worked out very well given the winner won a Group 2 at York next time. She’s the next best.

Selections: KITAI, VIOLETA

15.03 – The Tin Man Handicap – 6f

ABOLISH has finished last on both turf starts in the UK but if he can reproduce his all-weather form today, he certainly has a good chance at decent odds. He’s been highly tried by connections so far and ran a cracker behind Fresh Hope last time to finish fifth despite having to race wide. He’s handicapped to say a big say in the outcome here. KHANJAR is progressive and ran well to finish third behind Lethal Levi in a competitive race last time. He’s the one to beat.

Selections: ABOLISH, KHANJAR

15.38 – Oakmere Homes Handicap – 5f

GLAMOROUS EXPRESS is the only one I like in this race. He ran very well when third over C&D last time on soft ground which wouldn’t have suited and the return to better ground will suit in this race. The form of his win at Bath has been boosted by the third and fifth who have won since and, if he gets a clear passage, he should be right in the mix in this line-up.

Selections: GLAMOROUS EXPRESS

16.13 – British Stallion Studs EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes – 7f

Charlie and Mark Johnson’s MISS DYNAMIC was well-supported on debut in a class two and while she could only manage ninth, she put her experience to good use to win at Doncaster last time from the front. With more to come under another attacking ride, she has excellent claims of following-up in this race.

Selections: MISS DYNAMIC

16.48 – Watch Racing TV Fillies’ Handicap – 6f

EMILY POST once again ran well when a close-up third at Beverley last time and whilst she remains four-pounds higher than when winning at Carlisle, she should be thereabouts. SPEAR FIR has knocked on the door the last twice with two runner-up efforts and ought to be competitive here.

Selections: EMILY POST, SPEAR FIR
