Fakenham Place 6 betting preview | October 26th

13.50 – Greene King IPA Novices’ Handicap Chase – 3m

GETTHEPOT put a previous heavy fall behind him when jumping well en route to winning easily last-time-out. He’s up 4Ib but remains the one to beat. WHOISTHAT was narrowly denied last time and should pose a threat, while DAN’S CHOSEN shaped well on his second chase start when second last time and has to be included to make sure we get through the first race.

Selections: Getthepot, Whoisthat, Dan’s Chosen

14.25 – Wolferton ‘National Hunt’ Maiden Hurdle – 2m

Amy Murphy’s KALEB is interesting here. He placed in a couple of bumpers to begin his career and then wasn’t disgraced next time at Southwell in a race that is working out well. He caught the eye on his hurdles debut when a staying-on third in France and connections were clearly using that race as an education test before embarking on a hurdles career on home soil. He’s open to plenty more improvement and holds solid claims in this winnable race.

Selections: Kaleb

15.00 – Anmer Fillies’ Juvenile Hurdle – 2m

MISS FEDORA has shown significant signs of promise in both starts to date, chasing home Mr Freedom on debut in a bumper before a good third behind that same rival on hurdles bow. Of course more will be needed here but she should be all the better for that latest experience and can get involved here.

Selections: Miss Fedora

15.35 – Sandringham Mares’ Novices’ Handicap Chase – 2m5f

MY SILVER LINING impressed when going clear to win a 2m Lingfield novice hurdle in February and ran well for a long way when fourth the following month. Her attentions are quickly switched to chasing and the step up in distance should suit. She should prove to be much better than a mark of 108 and is fancied to land the spoils.

Selections: My Silver Lining

16.10 – Greene King IPA Mares’ Handicap Hurdle – 2m4f

CLUAIN AODHA should have won last time at Warwick on handicap debut and would have done so without a costly error at the final flight when in front. Her front-running style of racing should suit at this venue and she takes a drop in class too, so she should have little difficulty beating these.

Selections: Cluain Aodha

16.45 – Greene King IPA Handicap Hurdle – 2m

AL ZARAQAAN was decent on the Flat and has now won his last two starts over hurdles. This sharp course should play to his strengths and he remains well ahead of the assessor if his exploits on the Flat are anything to go by. With more to offer, the hat-trick beckons.

Selections: Al Zaraqaan
