Kelso Place 6 betting preview | October 22nd

13.05 – Simpsons Malt Handicap Hurdle – 2m

GAME BEEAA was runner-up on his first start over hurdles and probably would have won over

C&D on his stable debut three weeks ago without a bad mistake at the last hurdle. If he keeps his eye on the job this time round, compensation may await him. CUBAN CIGAR ran a solid race when third back in this sphere a month ago and can’t be dismissed off the same mark here.

Selections: GAME BEEAA, CUBAN CIGAR

13.40 – Lynnie’s Big Boozie Birthday Bash ‘National Hunt’ Maiden Hurdle – 2m

CAPTAIN BROOMFIELD is a brother to the high-class Captain Guinness and although he bled when strongly fancied to score last time when only sixth, a break will have done him good. The form of his second at Haydock in December is strong and if able to get back to that effort, he should go close to winning this easier race.

Selections: CAPTAIN BROOMFIELD

14.15 – Clifford, Martin & Sarah Firth Memorial Novices’ Handicap Chase – 2m7f

GET WITH IT got off the mark on his penultimate start over hurdles and ran well behind an odds-on favourite last time. He’s gone up three pounds but he’s going the right way and should make his presence felt in this wide-open race.

Selections: GET WITH IT

14.48 – Edinburgh Gin Chase (Limited Handicap)  – 3m2f

SOUNDS RUSSIAN progressed through the ranks last season over fences, winning three times, twice at this track before an excellent second to Dusart at Ayr. He pushed the winner to half a length so it was a smart effort in defeat and with more to come this term, he’s a massive player.

Selections: SOUNDS RUSSIAN

15.23 – Simpsons Malt Handicap Hurdle – 2m

ASTROMAN doesn’t win that often but has run well multiple times over hurdles to suggest he can make an impact in this race. MY MACHO MAN couldn’t land a blow over track and trip earlier this month but has place claims if able to produce anything near his best.

Selections: ASTROMAN, MY MACHO MAN

16.00 – Beauchamp Estates Handicap Chase – 2m1f

POINT HIM OUT opened his account at the third time of asking in March and makes his handicap chase debut off a lenient mark. With more to come, he should be thereabouts. INGLEBY MACKENZIE has been well held in all starts of late but is well-treated if able to put his best foot forward and should go very well here.

Selections: POINT HIM OUT, INGLEBY MACKENZIE
