Chepstow Place 6 betting preview | November 2nd

12.52 – Cazoo Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Chase – 2m7f

EASY BUCKS has been in good form this year, winning once and hitting the frame on his other occasions. He returned a beaten favourite last time but is off the same mark here and should be thereabouts. MY BAD LUCY wasn’t disgraced when third last time and makes his handicap chase debut off a nice mark. If he takes to the bigger obstacles, he could be a big player in the opener.

Selections: EASY BUCKS, MY BAD LUCY

Evan Williams won this race back in 2017 and his LIBBERTY HUNTER can make a successful hurdles debut here. He beat the 133-rated Serious Charges, who won his first three starts over hurdles before a solid sixth in a Grade Three at Aintree. He ran well on stable debut when sixth in a Listed event back in February and given he brings the strongest bumper form into the race, he should go very well here.

TAHMURAS ran well when second on debut and comfortably went one place better at Wincanton in March. He beat a good horse that day in the shape of Blow Your Wad and given the second ran a good race to finish fourth in a Grade Two next time and pushed an odds-on favourite close on hurdles debut at Ascot, the form looks really solid in the context of this race. The champion trainer has a good record at this course, while Harry Cobden has a good record with his rides here too, so this son of Falco gets quite a confident vote to make a successful hurdles debut here.

Selections: TAHMURAS

Paul Nicholls’ KNOWSLEY ROAD shaped with bundles of promise when second on debut at Exeter and went one better at this venue next time from the front. He should be suited to the step up in distance and his trainer has made an excellent start to the campaign, so he gets the vote to make a successful hurdles debut here before bigger targets await him later into the campaign.

DATSALRIGHTGINO was a pretty useful hurdler and pushed Boothill close at Newton Abbot last month. He might have been flattered by the winning margin but it was still a good effort in defeat on his chase debut and he gets into this race off the exact same mark. With lots more to come and this course likely to suit, he could take some beating.

15.22 – Join Vickers.Bet Free Bet Club Mares’ Handicap Hurdle – 2m7f

CAMEMBERT ELECTRIC has won two of her last three starts and was impressive when winning by over two lengths last time. She’s a mare thoroughly on an upward curve of form and ran well on her last visit here. She has to be considered a big player with more to offer now she’s found the winning habit.

Selections: CAMEMBERT ELECTRIC
