  14.15 PricedUp Nursery VALOR SPIRIT has displayed race-by-race progress and did very well to finish as close as he did when second at Pontefract a fortnight ago. It was evident that he was given far too much to do, but the way he stayed on strongly to only be beaten a couple of lengths by Chairmanfourtimes suggests he’s a horse about to strike.

  17.40 Join Fitzdares For A Personal Service EBF Novice Stakes This is a tight opener. TRAFALGER has made the frame on all three career starts so far and is sure to be in the mix at the business end. But he won’t find this easy to win with KINSWOMAN in the field.

  15.45 Enter ITV7 For Free Apprentice Handicap HIS FINEST HOUR scored at Newbury last month and the form boosted when the runner-up scored next time out. He’s remained in good form since, with a latest second place finish at Epsom and should again be in the mix.

  13.55 Aston Martin Nursery ROYAL BODYGUARD has improved with each run and came from off the pace to finish third at Doncaster last month. He looks sure to make an impact off a low weight. BALLISTIC MISSILE was down the field at Royal Ascot last time out but won a good race on debut at York and might be worth another chance.

  17.30 Racing League 15 Handicap JUAN LES PINS remains on a lengthy losing run but he’s shaped well of late at York, placing in a pair of big-field handicaps and has become dangerously well handicapped.
