12.25 Restorations UK Novices’ Hurdle PERCY SHELLEY has been a prolific winner on the Flat and won her first two starts over hurdles before going down narrowly at Cheltenham when last seen. The visor goes back on and Harry Cobden takes the ride.

12.27 Molson Coors ‘Hands And Heels’ Handicap Hurdle (Conditionals/Amateurs) PRAIRIE DIAMOND won this race last year in good style, so although he returns from 11 months off the track with a 6lb higher mark to contend with, the six-year-old should make a bold bid.

13.05 Dandara Golwg Gwendraeth Maiden Hurdle THERE RUNS MARY made a winning debut at Wincanton in January and only found one too good at Newbury a couple of months later. The winner has let the form down since, but this mare has the potential to be a decent hurdler and is the one they all have to beat.

13.15 Weatherbys & Birdie Calendars Maiden Hurdle CINQUENTA has placed on all three outings to date and makes his seasonal/hurdles debut with his team in excellent order. The form of his debut third has worked out really well, with the first and second winning in this sphere since.

14.30 Globe Inn, Chudleigh Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle Supreme Malinas is interesting on hurdles debut but even though A PATH TO RONDA has to concede to her, I fancy Jamie Snowden’s charge to make it two from two over timber.

13.10 Lycetts Insurance Brokers Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle Plenty to consider in the opener. A PAI DE NOM won well on hurdles debut at Newton Abbot before finishing second to a smart prospect in a tactically-run event.

12.20 William Hill Racing Winnings Boost EBF ‘National Hunt’ Novices’ Hurdle None of the runners can be ruled out in the opener so I’ll have multiple runners on the ticket for this.

12.30 Heckler & Koch – No Compromise Maiden Hurdle Although he’s not been seen for a while, ROCKING MAN still appeals the most to me in the opener. He bolted up on debut at the course before finishing second to Queensbury Boy back here.

13.02 PricedUp.Bet Juvenile Maiden Hurdle The opener can go the way of SCARLET MOON, who is expected to take a major step forward from his hurdles debut third at Sedgefield. In spite of returning as a beaten favourite, there were positives to take from his effort.
