Yarmouth betting tips | 25th August

Steven Dowler had a tremendous week at the York Ebor Festival, his three previews landing 5/6 ,6/6 and 5/6 in the Place 6. Now he turns his attention to the £3,000 Best Dividend Guaranteed Place 6 at Yarmouth on Tuesday. Check out his Yarmouth betting tips and join his Syndicate.

Yarmouth betting tips

15.20 – Novice Stakes – 7f

It could pay to side with the benefit of experience in this tricky race to start Yarmouth’s meeting, and of course, our preview.

James Ferguson’s runners are in great form this season and the form of RIDGEWAY AVENUE’s fourth on debut couldn’t have worked out any better with plenty of subsequent winners to boost the form. Ryan Moore takes the ride, therefore, he should prove hard to beat.

Finally, MIHRAB will have the assistance of William Buick in the saddle having stayed on strongly to finish sixth on debut. The extra furlong here promises to suit, so that gives him sound claims of being thereabouts.

Selections: RIDGEWAY AVENUE, MIHRAB

15.55 – Novice Stakes – 6f

FLIRTY RASCAL ran a lovely race on debut when fifth and that form has been well-advertised with the first and second winning subsequently at a higher-level. She improved on that eye-catching display when runner-up last time out and her experience will stand her in good stead.

DUTCH LIGHT is well-bred and is related to some good winners. She has a tongue-strap on for her debut here and the stable know how to ready one first time out, so she has to come into the equation in this wide-open event.

SHOW YOURSELF cost a huge sum as a yearling and is also related to some very useful winners. James Tate’s stable are in decent form so I strongly suspect this filly will be competitive, especially with the stable operating at a very high 60% place strike-rated with two-year-olds at this track.

Selections: FLIRTY RASCAL, DUTCH LIGHT, SHOW YOURSELF

16.25 – Yarmouth – 6f

PUBLICIST has demonstrated a fair level of progression and was a shade unfortunate to not finish a lot closer at Lingfield last time when too far back. PJ McDonald will likely try to gain a more prominent role on her today and that could see James Tate’s filly off the mark.

COCO BEAR shouldn’t be dismissed lightly having finished fifth in two relatively warm-events chasing home the likes of The Mighty Gurkha on one occasion. Oisin Murphy takes over the reins today which should see this colt be very competitive to say the least.

Selections: PUBLICIST, COCO BEAR

17.00 – Handicap – 7f

MORETTI is a dual C&D winner and has been in fine form of late which included a good fourth of 16 a couple of weeks ago. He’s 1lb lower today and looks set to run another big race back at his favourite hunting ground off bottom-weight.

GINGER MAX has continued in excellent form and is another C&D winner. He was denied a clear run when fourth in a stronger race then today’s contest and has been given a solid chance of making amends while on a mark that looks well within reach.

Selections: MORETTI, GINGER MAX

17.30 – Handicap – 7f

REDEMPTIVE has been in the frame on all three starts since resumption of racing and she could have been found an opportunity here to capitalise on a workable Mark with the top-class William Buick booked to ride.

FAASHIONEQUE hasn’t run to form the last twice, but she’s on a good mark and her two placed efforts at this track would be easily good enough to win this poor-looking contest having chased home subsequent winners and better quality opposition.

HUMAN NATURE looks extremely well-handicapped on a mark of 65 considering his last few wins have been off marks 72 and 74. His form at this track reads 2, 1 and 2 with that victory coming off a mark of 79 in class 4 company. From a form perspective, he ranks a cast iron each-way selection at a nice price.

Selections: REDEMPTIVE, HUMAN NATURE, FASHIONESQUE

18.00 – Classified Stakes – 7f

The nine-year-old DEEDS NOT WORDS looks set to capitalise off a career low-mark having won and placed in many races previously off tougher marks. The cheekpieces go on to add further spice, and I’d be disappointed if he can’t make good use of this opportunity.

CHAMPAGNE BOB is also on a career low-mark and turned in an excellent second when last seen at Chepstow. He has track form off higher marks and that should comfortably see him heavily involved in today’s contest.

Selections: DEEDS NOT WORDS, CHAMPAGNE BOB
