13.15 – Bet 10 Get 10 With Vickers.Bet Handicap Chase – 2m7f

BOAGRIUS won over C&D last autumn and ended last year with back-to-back seconds. The 11-year-old remains well-handicapped and has a solid record on good ground, so he could make an impact. GASTARA was second from a 2Ib higher mark here last April and would have obvious claims if able to repeat that form, while PRESENT STORM has a good record at this course and cannot be ruled out.

13.45 – Purple Granite Handicap Chase – 2m

RAFFLE TICKET who beat a 139-rated horse on his second go over fences last time and has loads more to come. He is really well-treated off 126 and is the main pick of the trio. GIVE ME A MOMENT shaped with encouragement when seventh over hurdles at Newbury and has to be respected. KAUTO THE KING is 5Ib below his last winning mark and bolted up on his last visit here, so he’s dangerous to dismiss as well.

14.15 – Join Our Bet Club At Vickers.Bet Open NH Flat Race – 2m

PYFFO was runner-up on debut at Southwell in November and then went one better at Haydock next time. He has a penalty to carry here but has more to offer and should take a bit of beating, while MY FERNANDO ran well on his sole start at this course last year when third and Daryl Jacob will ride, who has his only ride on the card. He could go well at a price.

14.45 – Best Odds Guaranteed At Vickers.Bet Maiden Hurdle – 2m

I am going to take a chance on BUXTED TOO to upset the favourite, who has proved expensive to follow under rules. Even if he wins, he is of no value, so preference is for Ian Williams’ charge who is the best of these on the Flat and has won five times on the level this year. His only previous start over hurdles was in a class 2, so he will find this easier and Sean Bowen rides. I think he will have too many gears for the favourite if he travels and jumps well.

15.15 – Best Odds Guaranteed At Vickers.Bet Maiden Hurdle – 2m

KOMEDY KICKS was right behind Cheltenham Festival Boodles winner Jazzy Matty at Fairyhouse when second in December and was running well in a Listed race at Doncaster before being hampered and falling at the second last hurdle. She was down the field in a Listed race at Cheltenham next time but this is a major ease in grade and, with Harry Cobden in the saddle, this is a great chance for her to open her account over hurdles.

15.50 – Vickers.Bet Join Facebook For New Offers Handicap Hurdle – 2m7f

CZECH HER OUT won for the second time over C&D in August before following up at Southwell last month. She has a 4Ib higher mark to contend with but she is at the top of her game at present and she should be in the frame. I will also recommend UMNDENI, who is 5Ib lower than when third on his last visit here which came in a stronger race. He isn’t out of this at double-figure digits.
