Worcester Place 6 preview | 18th September

14.05 – Make Your Home A Happy Haus Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase – 2m

A multiple winner over hurdles, FRINGILL DIKE has taken well to the larger obstacles, winning both starts, and could complete the hat-trick here despite going up 7Ib.GRAND ROI was rated as high as 149 a couple of years ago when formerly trained by Gordon Elliott and could be too good for these if back to his best given he is the highest rated in the field. GLORY AND HONOUR would only need to repeat his latest second to feature as well.

Tips: FRINGILL DIKE, GRAND ROI, GLORY AND HONOUR

14.40 – Get Pulling With PJ Nicholls SsangYong Handicap Chase – 2m4f

Prolific winner HANG IN THERE has an excellent strike-rate in this sphere and ran a huge race to finish third in the Summer Plate. He returned to winning ways in this grade at Stratford last time and this C&D winner should be difficult to beat. A 5Ib rise is still lenient given he was rated higher over hurdles. FIX IT ALL was behind the former in the Summer Plate when eighth and even though he disappointed back over hurdles last time, he should fare better.

Tips: HANG IN THERE, FIX IT ALL

15.15 – eventmasters.co.uk Open NH Flat Race – 2m

Brian Hughes surprisingly has his only ride on the card in the shape of LITTLE PETER who had shaped well when sixth on debut before running well to take third last time. The form has yet to be tested but he should be in the shake-up granted normal improvement. TOUCHWOOD EXPRESS is an interesting debutant for the Twiston-Davies team and shades the alternative vote ahead of easy C&D winner Newmill Getaway, who will have more on his plate.

Tips: LITTLE PETER

15.50 – eventmasters.co.uk Open NH Flat Race – 2m

PRAIRIE DIAMOND justified strong market support when winning comfortably on debut at Hereford and, with more to come, he could be capable of defying his penalty. THE EVENTMASTER stepped forward from his debut fourth to finish second over C&D last month and that form should work out well as the winner looks above average. A repeat performance should see him extremely competitive with every chance of going one better.

Tips: PRAIRIE DIAMOND, THE EVENTMASTER

16.25 – Amber Beverley-Smith Rideforamber Maiden Hurdle – 2m

ROCK HOUSE made a successful debut when easily winning a bumper at Huntingdon back in April and wasn’t beaten far when second at Warwick next time. His stable does ever so well with hurdles debutants who make the transition from bumpers and he should prove in a different parish to these if his jumping passes the test.

Tips: ROCK HOUSE

17.00 – Amber Beverley-Smith Rideforamber Maiden Hurdle – 2m

THE GEORDIE GINGE has made the frame in four of his six starts over hurdles and it is about time he starts getting his head in front. He seats a clear standard on the form available and won’t get many better opportunities to succeed in this sphere. Even if he gets beat again, he should still have enough to fill the frame but I reckon he wins this time.

Tips: THE GEORDIE GINGE
