13.50 – Racing TV Club Day Novices’ Hurdle
Paul Nicholls’ CENTARA returned an impressive win over C&D in December, and while this race is tougher, he is open to further improvement. He also has to shoulder a penalty on this occasion against a couple of interesting participants, but he should be hard to stop.

14.20 – Racing TV Club Day Novices’ Hurdle
SECRET SQUIRREL won his first three starts, with two wins in bumpers, before making a winning hurdles debut at Kempton. He caught the eye with an excellent second to a Supreme Novices’ Hurdle contender at Newbury and should be difficult to beat with no horse of that calibre in this field. He can resume winning ways under David Bass.

14.50 – Gold Cup Lunch 15th March Handicap Hurdle
BOLD REACTION has made the frame in three of his five starts over hurdles and was only beaten a length and a half last time. He is sure to be in the mix, while CHANDLERS BAY should improve from his handicap debut last time and had previously gone close at Plumpton. He is another to consider.

15.20 – Broadway & Horton Cricket Club Novices’ Handicap Chase
OUR NEL made the frame in all three of her starts over hurdles and shaped very well when third on her chase debut. She will appreciate the return to this shorter trip from a 1Ib lower mark and should be thereabouts. Of the remainder, HOWYOUPLAYTHEGAME has been kept on the same mark as when second at Hereford and should go well if he is in similar form.

15.50 – Stables Business Park Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle
It is hard to see past the classy GOLDEN ACE, who beat some above-average prospects on her hurdling debut here last month. She was runner-up in a Grade 2 bumper race at Aintree, and, with improvement to come, this six-year-old gets a confident vote to defy her penalty by making it two wins from two starts in this sphere.

16.20 – Arthur & Peggy White Memorial Handicap Chase
BRIDGE NORTH is 4Ib lower than when he scored in his handicap chase debut and could get back on track. MAGIC SAINT was a high-class handicapper in his youth, and while he ran poorly last time, this is easier. He is eased in grade, has fallen to a handy mark, and has the assistance of the excellent Grade 1-winning jockey, Freddie Gingell, who has his only ride on the card.
