JAYTEE was runner-up over C&D last month and then comfortably went one better here two weeks ago. He has standout claims, and so does TANGO BOY, who goes well fresh and has won two of his last three starts. He’s a player, while BBOLD is included as cover in case the unexpected happens.

Tips: JAYTEE, TANGO BOY, BBOLD

LIMERICK LEADER was consistent over hurdles, winning once and placing five times and was only beaten half-a-length three weeks under this rider on his third try over fences. He has plenty more to offer and can go one better.

Tips: LIMERICK LEADER

15.15 – Star Sports Split Second Offer Mares’ Open NH Flat Race

ASTON MARTINI makes his debut in what is a pretty thin race and given his powerful connections, he might be capable of winning this race. DARTING ROSE returned a good fourth over C&D just over three weeks ago and just about sets the standard on that piece of form.

Tips: ASTON MARTINI, DARTING ROSE

15.45 – starsports.bet ‘National Hunt’ Maiden Hurdle

A DEFINITE GETAWAY finished second for the third consecutive start at Huntingdon last month when beaten only a head and this race looks no tougher. Ben Pauling’s charge must have an excellent opportunity to put things right and open his account in this sphere.

Tips: A DEFINITE GETAWAY

PINK EYED PEDRO will make his long-awaited return so might just need this but he has won and placed multiple times off higher marks throughout his career, including when third in the Summer Plate two years ago off a mark of 142 and is down to a mark of 102 over hurdles here. If fully tuned, he’s surely in with a serious chance. DASHER RILEY would have leading claims if able to back up his latest Worcester success.

Tips: PINK EYED PEDRO, DASHER RILEY

APPRECIATE won four times over hurdles last summer and resumed winning ways at Cartmel six days ago. He is difficult to oppose, though FORGET THE WAY is lurking on a dangerous mark for the Alan King team and could be a serious in-the-frame contender at the very least.

Tips: APPRECIATE, FORGET THE WAY
