Ayr Place 6 preview | 5th June

14.15 – Every Race Live On Racing TV Maiden Stakes

Simon Crisford has just the one runner at this course in the shape of TAJAWAL who’s made the frame in all three runs to date and comes out best on these terms. His connections have appointed Joe Fanning to do the steering and, with his form looking stronger than Lil Frank, he should be able to get off the mark.

Tips: TAJAWAL

14.45 – Join Racing TV Now Fillies’ Handicap

WOOBAY is progressive, who was a clear second at this course last-time-out and makes her handicap debut off a fair mark. She’s placed in all three starts to date and this race won’t take a lot of winning, so Philip Makin’s charge gets the vote to open her account at the fourth time of asking with more to come.

Tips: WOOBAY

15.15 – Book The Unite Scotland Summer Raceday Handicap

HAVANA PARTY was a good fourth behind the reopposing St Andrew’s Castle over C&D just under two weeks ago and he is 5Ib below his last winning mark, so he’s got a chance of reversing the form, though ST ANDREW’S CASTLE has a good chance if able to stage a repeat of that latest success.

Tips: HAVANA PARTY, ST ANDREW’S CASTLE

15.45 – Take That Tribute At Western House Handicap

ANNANDALE hasn’t won for a long time but his last win came off a much higher mark and his latest third was a return to form. Surely he is capable of winning this contest, though GRAND CANAL won this last year and cannot be taken lightly if the first-time blinkers have a positive effect. He has leading claims off this mark in his repeat bid.

Tips: ANNANDALE, GRAND CANAL

16.15 – Staycations At Western House Hotel Handicap

SIXCOR is a three-time C&D winner, who’s latest run can be excused due to losing his fore shoes which explained his poor effort. He is worth another chance back on his last successful mark, while ONE LAST HUG has already won twice this year, including over C&D and should be competitive under Joe Fanning, who rides this course well.

Tips: SIXCOR, ONE LAST HUG

16.45 – Book Family Racedays In July Handicap

RORY is a former course winner, who has been running really well of late, in which he has made the frame in his last two starts. He has leading claims turned out quickly, while ALPINE SIERRA has undergone wind surgery since he was last seen and has a chance off this mark.

Tips: RORY, ALPINE SIERRA
