13.15 – Flat Is Back On Racing TV Fillies’ Restricted Novice Stakes – 5f
Karl Burke does well with newcomers and LYNDSANDA could go well if the market speaks in her favour. Her trainer is amongst the winners so she is included, while VITARLI is nicely bred as well and Ben Curtis rides. She is not to be underestimated at bigger odds in the first race.

13.50 – Yorkshire Wonder Horse Handicap – 7f
GUEST LIST wasn’t disgraced when sixth at Newcastle last time and returns to the turf on a very nice mark. She ran well on her only previous start on soft ground when second and gets the vote. REVOQUABLE also ran well on soft ground when second last time and could pose a threat.

14.25 – Grey-Smith Legal Straight Mile Handicap – 7f
This is a weak race, so I’ll chance one of the outsiders KHANGAI – who’s best performance came on soft ground when fifth at Doncaster on his second start last year and this race is a lot easier, so he could win this at nice odds if able produce that sort of display here. He is of interest, while LEAP YOUR LEAD has looked a tricky ride but should be going close in a race like this.

15.00 – SDDE Smith Group Handicap – 7f
A competitive race but YOUNG FIRE goes well in the mud and this C&D winner placed three times last year on soft ground off marks in the 90’s, so he remains really treated off 84 here. He needs a lot of luck-in running but he’s one of the classiest horses in the race on his day and his C&D win was off a mark of 96. He has to enter calculations in a race he is capable of winning should things go his way in the race.

15.35 – Watch Live On Racing TV Novice Stakes – 1m2f
PEACE MAN ran a nice race on debut at Wolverhampton five weeks ago and should come on for that experience. He is the one to beat, though DUBAI CRYSTAL will be fitter from her comeback run at Wolverhampton and is the main danger.

16.10 – racingtv.com Handicap – 1m2f
CANTORA has won a pair of nurseries, including at this course and has to be feared given her current run of form. GLORIOUS LION is dropped in grade on handicap debut and should benefit for the step up in trip as well, so he makes the shortlist.
