Nottingham Place 6 preview | 2nd May

14.10 – EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes – 5f

TREASURE STORM is the only runner with experience, who kept on well to be fourth of eight on debut at Musselburgh. That form is already working out nicely given the third Moonstone Boy has gone close here since. She will have learnt a lot from that, so she is fancied to go close. EXPONISTA makes the most of the newcomers as she’s bred to be quick and could make an impact with Rossa Ryan in the saddle.

Selections: TREASURE STORM, EXPONISTA

14.40 – Racing TV Profits Returned To Racing Restricted Novice Stakes – 1m2f

TEMPERED SOUL made an encouraging start to his career when fourth of 14 at Kempton and should be more streetwise this time around with the step up in trip a plus and William Buick maintaining the ride. George Boughey has his team in fine form as well, so he gets the nod to come out on top at the expense of Lingfield winner Maso Bastie.

Selections: TEMPERED SOUL

15.10 – Follow RacingTV On Twitter Fillies’ Handicap

BLOOMWITHGRACE came unstuck on deep ground at Newbury in her final start last season but she still ran well to finish fifth and has shaped well in each of her three starts. She has place possibilities at least on handicap debut, while ZARGA has also displayed promise after three starts and has been let in here lightly on handicap debut. She could play a leading role.

Selections: BLOOMWITHGRACE, ZARGA

15.40 – British Stallion Studs EBF Fillies’ Handicap – 1m

CANOODLED makes her return from an 8Ib higher mark than when scoring at Newmarket she was in great form last season and it’s possible she can continue where she left off, starting in this race. She is more appealing than most, while KINGMANIA came from the clouds to win at Southwell last time and is only 3Ib higher back on the turf.

Selections: CANOODLED, KINGMANIA

16.10 – British EBF Nottinghamshire Oaks Stakes

MUKADDAMAH ran well in defeat in nearly all of her starts last season and wasn’t beaten far when when fourth in the Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot. She goes well fresh and is a leading player, while ONE FOR BOBBY was an unlucky third in a Group 2 last year at the Curragh in July and has the class to go well in this event. She is of interest at nice odds.

Selections: MUKADDAMAH, ONE FOR BOBBY

16.40 – Bet At racingtv.com Handicap

OPEN MARKET won on debut in Ireland last year and has finished second on both starts in handicaps. He is a player off the same mark, while Irish raider THUNDERBEAR has some useful form on home-soil and could be dangerous to pass if he can get a soft lead with Ronan Whelan coming over to ride.

Selections: OPEN MARKET, THUNDERBEAR
