12.30 Cheltenham Festival Specials Live At BetVictor ‘Chasing Excellence’ Beginners’ Chase

This is likely to be a walkover with Josh The Boss a possible non-runner due to running only a few days ago. If not, then I still fancy SIXMILEBRIDGE to beat him. This Grade 2 hurdles winner should have a bright future over fences.

Tips: SIXMILEBRIDGE

MAITRE EN SCIENCE ran his best race for this stable to date when third at Chepstow on his seasonal reappearance and is dropped in class off an unchanged mark. Megan Fox can also take off a further 7lb, so there’s a lot to like about his credentials. Handicap debutant SUNRAY SHADOW is another to consider.

Tips: MAITRE EN SCIENCE & SUNRAY SHADOW

13.40 Agetur UK 40th Anniversary In Business Maiden Hurdle

Olly Murphy has been raving about this well-bred son of Doctor Dino, WILSTAR, and he’s fancied to make a winning start over hurdles. He took a huge step forward from his debut third to open his account at Perth. The five-year-old could be set for a big season, so hopefully he can get the job done first time out.

Tips: WILSTAR

14.15 CSP Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle

Khrisma could prove difficult to beat but a chance is taken on two at bigger odds. HORNICA shaped really well when fourth on debut at Cheltenham and appeals as the type to do well over hurdles. POTTERSVILLE bolted up on debut in Ireland and has since joined Rebecca Curtis. She could be anything and might be worth a chance at the odds.

Tips: HORNICA & POTTERSVILLE

14.50 Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle

Tranquil Sea is interesting with hardly any weight to carry, but the two classiest horses feature at the top of the list of runners. HAITI COULEURS is sure to come on for the run but the Irish Grand National winner can race off a 7lb lower mark back over hurdles and has the class to make a serious impact. ACT OF AUTHORITY is 2-2 at this time of year and is down in grade on his return, so he’s another to enter the equation.

Tips: HAITI COULEURS & ACT OF AUTHORITY

15.25 Daily Racing Boosts At BetVictor Handicap Chase

LORD BADDERSLEY has undergone wind surgery since last seen and ran a good race when fourth over C&D this time last year. He’s also 4lb below his last winning mark, so with his stable already making a good start to the season, the 10-year-old could be worth siding with off a low weight.

Tips: LORD BADDERSLEY
