JUST HER TYPE came close to making a successful hurdles debut at Ayr five weeks ago when collared in the final stride. That was a promising start to her career under Rules, and with plenty more to come, she appeals the type to go onto better things. She looks good value against the favourite in the opener.
Tips: JUST HER TYPE

Peacenik sets the standard on his close-up third in a Listed race at Haydock but PLEASINGTON improved significantly from his hurdles debut fifth at Kempton to emphatically defeat an odds-on favourite at Leicester. Olly Murphy’s charge has the potential to rank higher, so the seven-year-old is fancied to continue his progress and double his tally over timber.
Tips: PLEASINGTON

MADAKET has made the frame in two of his last three starts over hurdles and appeals as the type to do even better in this sphere. Off the same mark as when third in a very decent race last time out, the seven-year-old could be set to feature prominently on his chase debut. RAMO should improve from his introduction in this sphere at Warwick and has the hurdles form to make an impact.
Tips: MADAKET & RAMO

ICAQUE DE L’ISLE is the classiest horse in the field based on his form and mark, so he’s the obvious starter in the field. JUKEBOX D’EDDY should be much happier back in this sphere and can go well, as can WILLIAMDECONQUEROR, who shouldn’t be far away if able to produce his best.
Tips: ICAQUE DE L’ISLE, JUKEBOX D’EDDY & WILLIAMDECONQUEROR

THOR DE CERISY finished second in a much stronger race over C&D in December and performed with credit when fifth in a hotter race at Windsor last time out. Off a 5lb lower mark than when last successful, this 11-year-old must be considered as a major contender. ROYAL MER has dropped to a mark that is a pound below his last success and should be thereabouts.
Tips: THOR DE CERISY & ROYEL MER

Given the form he’s in at the moment, DOUBLE OBAN appears as a solid option in the final race on the card. Olly Murphy’s contender has won two of his last three starts and although he was awarded the race in the stewards room last time out, he would have won without being hampered late on. He should be hard to kick out of the frame.
Tips: DOUBLE OBAN
