Fontwell Place 6 preview | 8th March

13.40 – Cazoo Amateur Jockeys’ Handicap Chase – 2m3f

LUCKOFTHEDRAW is 3Ib above his last winning mark has won over track and trip and should be competitive in this race. GARINCHA is probably the best horse in the race but needs to bounce back from a fall last time, while FABRIQUE EN FRANCE merits respect in his current mood and should make an impact.

Selections: LUCKOFTHEDRAW, GARINCHA, FABRIQUE EN FRANCE

14.10 – Get Cheltenham Tips On attheraces.com/cheltenham Maiden Hurdle – 2m5f

RISKINTHEGROUND has shaped with some promise over hurdles and although he has only placed once in his four starts, this is a weak race, so he could open his account. MUCH TOO FEAR should take a step forward from his hurdles debut and David Bass is retained to ride, so he could be competitive.

Selections: RISKINTHEGROUND, MUCH TOO FEAR

14.40 – Weatherbys nhstallions.co.uk Mares’ Handicap Hurdle – 3m1f

CAST’S TASHA improved from her hurdles debut to finish third in back-to-back events since and an opening mark of 98 could prove exploitable in this race. She is worth an interest, as is last-time-out scorer FLINTARA, who has won two of her last three starts and could be competitive once more.

Selections: CAST’S TASHA, FLINTARA

15.10 – Weatherbys Cheltenham Festival Betting Guide Handicap Hurdle – 2m3f

FOREVER BLESSED trounced his rivals in his first two hurdle starts and although his two starts since have been majorly disappointing, he retains potential and could beat these if back to form.

Selections: FOREVER BLESSED

15.40 – Ultimate Cheltenham Festival Guide On attheraces.com/cheltenham Handicap Chase – 2m1f

EXTRAORDINARY MAN returned a beaten favourite on his chase debut but showed an aptitude for the fences and has an excellent chance to go one better down in grade. POLICE ACADEMY ran to a useful level in all three starts over hurdles and will make her handicap/chase debut in a winnable race.

Selections: EXTRAORDINARY MAN, POLICE ACADEMY

16.10 – Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Maiden Hurdle – 2m1f

SOUND AND FURY has been well found in the market but he has clearly been showing the right signs at home and his trainer has continued to be amongst the winners of late. IMPERIAL SUN was smart on the Flat rated as high as 87 and will probably step forward from his hurdles debut fifth last time. If doing so, he’s a massive player.

Selections: SOUND AND FURY, IMPERIAL SUN
