Fontwell Place 6 betting preview | November 4th

12.30 – EBF Mares’ Novices’ Chase – 2m3f

SKYACE is favoured by the weights here. She is a former Grade 1 winner over hurdles and while she hasn’t been seen for a while, she was the best of these over the smaller obstacles. She wasn’t disgraced when third in a Listed event when last spotted and provided she’s fully tuned up for her chase debut, she could outclass these.

Selections: SKYACE

13.05 – Cazoo Maiden Hurdle – 2m1f

TEDDY BLUE sets a clear standard for the rest to aim at here. He was second in the second in the Adonis at Kempton in February and his only disappointment was when down the field in the Triumph Hurdle. This is a great opportunity for him to deservedly get a first win over hurdles.

Selections: TEDDY BLUE

13.40 – Supporting The St. Wilfred’s Hospice Charity Handicap Hurdle – 2m3f

WAVERING DOWN raced sparingly last year and was last seen recording a decisive victory at Newton Abbot when beating a higher rated opponent. With fitness on his side off bottom-weight, Jeremy Scott’s charge should be tough to beat here.

Selections: WAVERING DOWN

14.15 – Supporting Stonepillow Charity Handicap Chase – 2m1f

Olly Murphy’s PARLIAMENT HILL has won two of his four starts over hurdles and there was a lot to like about the way he brushed aside a decent rival last time. He should advance his form over fences and is a huge player off a mark that’s well within range.

Selections: PARLIAMENT HILL

14.50 – Supporting The Chichester Foodbank Handicap Hurdle

FORWARD PLAN has improved enormously since going handicapping, in which he’s recorded back-to-back seconds and returns off only a two pounds higher mark today. He is going the right way and can get off the mark with that run under his belt.

Selections: FORWARD PLAN

15.25 – Cazoo Handicap Chase – 3m1f

A lot of these have plenty to prove at the moment but LOUD AS LIONS can be tough to pass when in the mood and defied a three pounds higher mark back in February in a class four event. If David Bass can get him into a decent rhythm, he could go well at large odds in the finale on the preview.

Selections: LOUD AS LIONS
