Ffos Las Place 6 Preview | 14th of July
14.30 Dandara Homes EBF Maiden Stakes
JAAN KI TUKRI was set a stiff task in the Coventry Stakes but ran well to finish ninth and will find this so much easier. Fitted with first time cheekpieces, he must be considered as the one to beat. Newcomer EL PASO is interesting for the Alan King team.
Tips: JAAN KI TUKRI & EL PASO
15.00 Golwg Gwendraeth Nursery
TALLAHASSEE LASSIE has improved with each start and wasn’t beaten far when third at Leicester last time out. She looks very well treated off this figure, so in what is a winnable event, she can get the job done.
Tips: TALLAHASSEE LASSIE
15.30 Diplomat Hotel Maiden Stakes
With all the experience to draw upon, this could be the time NEVASCA CINZA will finally open his account. He’s been expensive to follow up to date but it’s surely only a matter of time before everything clicks. He’s strongly fancied to go very close.
Tips: NEVASCA CINZA
16.05 Preventapest Handicap
TOKYO JOE is down in grade after running well at Ascot and York last time out and looked a bit unfortunate not to finish closer in each of those. With his sights lowered, I think he’s ready to strike. SPIRIT OF THE BAY is back down to her last winning mark and cannot be ruled out.
Tips: TOKYO JOE & SPIRIT OF THE BAY
16.40 Dandara, Beautiful New Homes In Carway ‘Confined’ Handicap
HOMELAND has shaped promisingly on both starts this year at Chepstow and his last win was achieved off a 6lb lower mark. He’s a leading player, while IBIZA LIGHTS came very close to scoring at Yarmouth last time out and should be able to build on that and be in the mix.
Tips: HOMELAND & IBIZA LIGHTS
17.14 Dandara, Find Your Perfect New Home Handicap
MEET ME IN MERAKI shaped well when third at this course last time out and finds himself 2lb lower than when last successful, so he’s expected to be competitive. GRAND PIER ran his best race to date when second at this course last month and is another to consider.
Tips: MEET ME IN MERAKI & GRAND PIER
