Steven Dowler returns after a heartbreaking weekend in which his Ascot Place 6 Syndicate didn’t fill but proceeded to win, it would have paid out well over £3000 at a return of over 3000%. He takes on Tuesday’s £5,000 Exeter Place 6, make sure you check out his Exeter betting tips and join his Syndicate this time!

Exeter betting tips

12.40 – Racing TV Profits Returned To Racing Amateur Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle – 2m2f

A poor looking contest to kickstart Exeter’s afternoon card but it’s quite possible to see KNIGHT COMMANDER recording back-to-back victories. He was impressive at Hereford most recently and looks to hold valid claims under a penalty here with the majority of the field seemingly out of form.

David Pipe’s AIRTON was a fortunate winner last month but this race doesn’t look any stronger and he should be able to go close with a repeat performance carrying top-weight, although he can be very inconsistent.

Selections: KNIGHT COMMANDER, AIRTON

13.10 – Racing TV Profits Returned To Racing Amateur Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle – 2m2f

David Pipe could be set for quite a productive afternoon with excellent chances on tomorrow’s card, including TO FLY FREE who has shown fair ability over hurdles and ran well to finish third on her handicap debut last month. Her handy 3-y-o allowance will give her a distinct advantage over her market principals, so she’s fancied to make a bold bid with further progression likely.

Of the rest, ISHYABOI bounced back to form with a highly respectable fourth at Warwick last time and given the fact that the first three home that day are all rated 104 plus, he’s arguably well-handicapped and will operate here from a career-low mark.

Selections: TO FLY FREE, ISHYABOI

13.40 – Watch On RacingTV Maiden Hurdle – 2m

Sovereign Duke rates an obvious danger on hurdles debut but Kim Bailey’s SHANTOU EXPRESS looks the solid option. He was a fairly useful bumper horse, who managed to place in a listed race and has lost nothing in defeat when posting two runner-up efforts over hurdles this term. He may have bumped into a decent prospect last time and is taken to get off the mark over hurdles under David Bass.

Selections: SHANTOU EXPRESS

14.15 – Free Entry With RacingTV Club Days Handicap Hurdle – 2m7f

Paul Nicholls’ OSCARS MOONSHINE seemed to benefit from the step up in trip when scoring at Hereford last week. He had a bit more up his sleeve then the three-length margin suggested and should prove hard to beat under tomorrow’s 7Ib penalty.

TALKTOMENOW appreciated the previous wind-op when a ready winner at Perth last month under tomorrow’s rider, Jack Tudor. He has been hit with a 10Ib rise as a result for that success but it would come as no surprise were he to offer more improvement.

Selections: OSCARS MOONSHINE, TALKTOMENOW

14.50 – Love Devon Handicap Chase – 3m

The bottom-weight KITTY’S LIGHT showed immediate improvement when switched to fences and has taken her record in this sphere to two wins and a second from three outings thus far. He comes out best at the weights, receiving over one stone from his market rival and is handed the vote to take advantage of that.

FLYING VERSE looked rather unlucky when departing his rider three out just five days ago when travelling strongly. He’s been super-consistent for his new yard, and should be thereabouts with a clear round. He would have won off a similar mark at Newton Abbot back in July when making a mistake at the last, handing the initiative to a now 140-rated horse and Sam Twiston-Davies has his only mount on tomorrow’s card.

Selections: KITTY’S LIGHT, FLYING VERSE

15.25 – Best Mate Beginners’ Chase – 2m1f

A small but selected field of three runners go to post for this beginners chase on the concluding leg of Exeter’ betting tips.

Philip Hobbs’ ZOFFEE made the useful Getaway Trump pull out all the stops at Warwick last time when making his chase debut. He sets a high standard here on the basis of that form, so this likeable front-runner is strongly fancied to go one better, especially with plenty more to come.

SEVEN DE BAUNE has a sizeable absence to overcome, but he showed up well on his chase debut at Worcester and a similar effort here might see him cause the favourite one or two problems providing his fitness doesn’t take its toll late in the day.

Selections: ZOFFEE, SEVEN DE BAUNE
