Catterick Betting Preview

13.50 – Every Race Live On Racing TV Claiming Stakes – 5f

David Evans’ DUNNINGTON LAD is the only one of these to have won and is the dropped significantly in grade on the back of a good second in a class three event at Leicester. THE FULL BRONTE was only third behind the former last time, but meets that rival on better terms and should finish a lot closer this time round.

Selections: DUNNINGTON LAD, THE FULL BRONTE

14.20 – Gaspara Asset Management Nursery – 5f

LILY IN THE JUNGLE has winning form over the minimum trip and ran well to finish second in a class four event last time over further. She brings the best form into the race and should go close. SHERMAN KLUMPF ran a tidy race when third at Beverley last time and has been given a lenient handicap debut mark, so is feared most.

Selections: LILY IN THE JUNGLE, SHERMAN KLUMPF

14.50 – St Teresa’s Hospice Fillies’ Handicap – 5f

WHERE’S DIANA got back to her best when winning at Carlisle four days ago and while she’s forced to shoulder a penalty on this occasion, she could follow-up in this contest. NOTEABLE ran a poor race last time but she’s better than that and is weighted to have a say in the outcome if able to bounce back under Ben Curtis.

Selections: WHERE’S DIANA, NOTEABLE

15.20 – Eden Training Academy Nursery – 7f

This is tricky, but URBAN SPRAWL has steadily improved with each start and posted a solid effort in defeat when second to Honour Your Dreams. The winner has let the form down since but Mark Johnston’s charge should appreciate the step up in distance and looks to have been let in here lightly on handicap debut. She looks the way to go in this contest off top-weight.

Selections: URBAN SPRAWL

15.50 – Yorkshire Wonder Horse Handicap – 1m7f

BOLLIN NEIL made the most of an easy opportunity when seeing off his two rivals at Musselburgh last time and with a good record at this course which reads 36125211224, he has to be respected. MONTICELLO outran huge odds to finish fourth at Wetherby last time and is well-treated on past exploits, so while he’s not won in six years, he’s considered under Graham Lee.

Selections: BOLLIN NEIL, MONTICELLO

16.20 – Millbry Hill Handicap – 7f

REGAL WORLD didn’t show much in her first three starts but showed promise when second on handicap debut last time and should have more to come at this level. AUDIT is likely to be the outsider of the field but he’s shown enough in some of his starts to suggest he can be competitive in this grade.

Selections: REGAL WORLD, AUDIT
