14.35 fakenhamdogfield.co.uk Novices’ Handicap Hurdle
It’s hard to be confident about any of these but TUBA has been in relentless form since December on the Flat, winning three times, including the last two times and might be able to make the most of this fantastic opportunity. It will be majorly disappointing if he can’t go close.
Tips: TUBA
15.05 Bruce Towers & Sons Mechanical Engineers Mares’ Maiden Hurdle
The consistent ALIBEY might be able to get on the scoresheet. She has only found one too good on her last three starts, whereas her opposition have plenty to prove. If the selection can run to form, I have no doubt she is capable of taking the spoils.
Tips: ALIBEY
15.35 Book Your Function At fakenhamracecourse.co.uk Handicap Chase
NOT FOR PASSIN is clear of these on ratings and should be able to do well over fences. He’s very lightly raced for his age and beat a dual subsequent winner on his only flat start. A clear round should be able to see him defy top-weight.
Tips: NOT FOR PASSIN
16.07 1st The Queens’ Dragoon Guards Handicap Hurdle
AMBIENTE FRIENDLY would eat these for breakfast if this was run on the Flat, so if he can produce some of his best form over timber, then he might be able to outclass his opposition.
Tips: AMBIENTE FRIENDLY
16.37 Prince Of Wales Cup Handicap Chase
HURRICANE BAY lacks consistency but he won this race twelve months ago off a 3lb higher mark and returned to winning ways in good style at Huntingdon last time out. The 10-year-old can back it up and land this for the second consecutive year.
Tips: HURRICANE BAY
17.07 Fisher Electrical Contractors Female Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle
MARKET HOUSE was in good form when last seen in this sphere, winning at Plumpton, and hasn’t been disgraced on two starts on the Flat. I can see him getting an ideal setup with his nearest market rival being the likely pacesetter, so he earns the marginal vote.
Tips: MARKET HOUSE
