Lingfield Place 6 Preview | 19th May
14.10 Get Raceday Ready Handicap
HENGEST has improved from run-to-run and easily got the job done on handicap debut at Windsor last week. This longer trip should unlock even further improvement, so he’s fancied to carry the penalty to success.
Tips: HENGEST
14.40 Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Restricted Maiden Stakes
VIDMIYR placed twice in Ireland before filling the frame on both starts for this stable. He looked so unlucky not to score at Doncaster last time out when denied a clear run multiple times. Granted a clear run this time, I think he is ready to strike.
Tips: VIDMIYR
15.10 Simon Duggan The Bad Ama Handicap
MAN IS KING has more on his plate in order to complete the hat-trick but he’s clearly at the top of his game and won with plenty up his sleeve at Bath again last time out. So despite shouldering a penalty, the seven-year-old can make a bold bid.
Tips: MAN IS KING
15.40 Simon Duggan The Bad Ama Handicap
RAQRAAQ’s two previous wins have been here off marks of 58 and 62, albeit on the all-weather, and came close at this venue when last seen (third). Off the same mark back on the turf, surely he’s going to be heavily competitive.
Tips: RAQRAAQ
16.10 Follow attheraces On Instagram Handicap
BASED improved upon all previous form when second at Wolverhampton last time out on handicap debut and should be able to build on that in this thin event. With more to come, I think he’s got every chance of going one place better.
Tips: BASED
16.45 Sky Sports Racing Virgin 512 Handicap
CALL GLORY has been in really good form this year and was last seen finishing third at Leicester in what was a stronger event. He remains higher than his last win but ought to be in the shake-up at this lower level.
Tips: CALL GLORY
