14.30 Hazelton Mountford Insurance Brokers Maiden Hurdle

REBEL TRIBESMAN won his only bumper start before only finding one too good on both hurdle outings. With those efforts under his belt, the five-year-old could be ready to make it third time lucky in this sphere.

15.00 Logicor Grand Neighsional Handicap Chase

The two last-time-out winners could be the ones to focus on with preference for YES AND YES. I liked how comfortable he won at Stratford last time out and a 5lb rise seems very fair. If he can replicate that showing then I see no reason why he can’t go close to gaining another success.

15.30 Mane Event: Logicor Cup Handicap Chase

FULL FORCE GALE ran very well when second over C&D on chase debut before going one better at the same venue earlier this month. He has a huge weight to carry but is clear on ratings and should be hard to beat. If there’s an upset, perhaps RANGATIRA JACK will capitalise.

16.00 Logic Defying Handicap Hurdle

This seems like a good race for the grade and the vote goes to recent C&D winner II VA DE SOI for the Harry Derham team. He absolutely dominated his rivals from the front last time out and a similar showing could be on the cards given he’s well handicapped on last year’s form.

16.30 Cor Blimey Gallop Novices’ Limited Handicap Hurdle

BUXTED REEL was in great form towards the end of last year on the Flat, winning at Chelmsford, and will resume his racing in a very poor event. ALLIBABA is the one to beat though and is played as cover. None of the others make any appeal.

17.00 Love Warwick Handicap Hurdle

Unjeu Royal only just scrambled home last time out but should have more to come. However, Ben Pauling’s MOJITO DES MOTTES has Harry Cobden on his back and will find this easier than when a narrow second at Ascot (would have won with a clear passage). I think he’s a good bet to open his account for connections.
