We encourage you to consider a deposit limit to manage the amount of money that you can deposit into your account. Limits can be set for a 24-hour, 7-day or 30-day period. These limits may be decreased at any time and any such decrease will take effect immediately. Any increase in a deposit limit which you apply to your account will only be implemented after a 24-hour period and a confirmation by you on your account of the requested change once the 24-hour period has elapsed.
How can I set/change my deposit limits?
You can set, amend and confirm your deposit limits in the ‘Responsible gambling’ section of ’My account’.
How does my Deposit Limit work?
Every deposit limit works on a rolling 24-hour, 7-day or 30-day period. The period will start at the time the limit is set (or changed) and will be refreshed every 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days, at the same time that the limit was set.
For example, if you set a £100 daily deposit limit at 15:00, you will be able to deposit up to £100 between 15:00 that day and 14:59:59 the following day. That £100 limit can be used via a single deposit or multiple deposits, as long as cumulatively they do not exceed £100. After 14:59:59 the following day, your deposit limit will be reset to £100 for the subsequent 24-hour period.
Similarly, weekly and monthly limits will reset 7 and 30 days respectively from the time that the limits were set or last changed.
When will any changes to my deposit limit take effect?
All deposit limit increases are subject to a 24-hour cooling off period and a second confirmation. However, any deposit limit decreases will take effect instantly.
Example: If you currently have a daily deposit limit of £100 and you apply a weekly deposit limit of £500, the change takes effect instantly. In other words, whilst your daily limit remains £100, your weekly limit of £500 is applied immediately. The three deposit limit options (daily, weekly, monthly) operate independently of each other so that if you set a weekly limit of £500 and a monthly limit of £400, you will not be able to deposit more than £400 in each 30-day period.
Do I have to set a Deposit Limit?
No, you don’t have to. However, the option to set a limit is presented each time you make a deposit and you can also manage your deposit limits from the ‘Responsible gambling’ section of your account.
