Worcester Place 6 preview | 28th June

13.58 – Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Novices’ Handicap Chase – 2m4f

COTTON END ran her best race of the year when third at Uttoxeter when last seen and is well-handicapped on her best form with her last success coming off a 21Ib higher mark. She should go well, while the consistent MISS ANTIPOVA deserves a change of fortune after a sequence of seconds this year and could go one better in this weak contest.

Tips: COTTON END, MISS ANTIPOVA

BLUEBERRY WINE has won five of his 11 starts over fences, including his last two and takes a drop in grade after winning comfortably in a better race at Aintree last-time-out. He is the one to beat. STEPNEY CAUSEWAY bounced back to finish second last time and is feared, while ELIOS D’OR has C&D winning form and cannot be discounted either in this competitive race.

Tips: BLUEBERRY WINE, STEPNEY CAUSEWAY, ELIS D’OR

14.58 – Savills Handicap Chase – 2m7f

HARDY BOY is the percentage call here, who has taken well to fences, improving with each start and opened his account in good style when winning by over seven lengths last month. A three pound rise seems very fair based on the manner of his easy success and therefore Ben Pauling’s charge is fancied to double his tally over timber.

Tips: HARDY BOY

ACHTUNG BABY caught the eye on his rules/bumper debut at Stratford, where he made relentless progress late on to not be beaten that far into fourth and will have learnt a lot from that opening experience. He can give the favourite most to think about.

Tips: ACHTUNG BABY

15.58 – At The Races App Form Study Maiden Hurdle – 2m

GAIUS was smart when trained on the Flat, who defied a mark of 82 when last seen in that sphere and although winless in four starts over hurdles, he has placed in three of them. Olly Murphy’s charge has finished runner-up in his last two starts and should be winning a race like this if able to continue his improvement.

Tips: GAIUS

16.28 – Royal Equestrian Bedding Handicap Hurdle – 2m4f

FINISK RIVER arrives in great form, who has won four of his last six starts and won easily over C&D back in September. He was a distant second when last seen but a break will have done him good and he should remain competitive, while MERRY BERRY won four on the bounce before being touched off by only half-a-length when last seen should make the frame at the very least on her reappearance.

Tips: FINISK RIVER, MERRY BERRY
