14.05 – Richard Newland Racing Novices’ Handicap Chase – 2m7f
CHIEF BLACK BABE is unbeaten in three starts this year over fences and would still have won last time without his nearest danger taking a tumble at the second last fence. He could remain unbeaten in this sphere, though MOON KING and TIGER ORCHID are both course-and-distance winners and cannot be discounted.

14.35 – FBC Manby Bowdler Handicap Chase – 2m7f
TOPOFTHECOTSWOLDS was successful over course-and-distance last July and his last win came off a pound higher mark. He has a big weight to carry but he’s more than capable of being involved. BOTHWELL BRIDGE hasn’t won since his chase debut success but is 12 pounds below that mark now and is more than likely going to bounce back at some stage for Nicky Henderson. He’s feared most.

15.10 – Wacky Weekender Festival Pitchcroft 21st-23rd July Open NH Flat Race – 2m
Nico De Boinville does well at this meeting for his boss Nicky Henderson and debutant PROFESSOR HIGGINS is likely to prove popular in the betting. He could be a big player, though THIRTYFOUR THIRTY came close to making a successful rules debut when beaten only a neck over course-and-distance and is the solid alternative option.

15.45 – Get Pulling With PJ Nicholls SsangYong Novices’ Hurdle – 2m4f
SOLDAT FORTE rates the best bet on the card, who’s form has been positively advertised. He was a neck second back in September at this course in a bumper and has taken well to hurdles since. He beat two subsequent winners on his hurdles debut and has only found two horses too good in his two recent starts. He should be very hard to keep out of the frame.

16.15 – Anja Potze Fine Jewellery Of Worcester Mares’ Handicap Hurdle – 2m
THREE MACKS has finished second in three of her last four starts and her latest two runner-up efforts have been behind horses who have won again since. This filly is really consistent and this is a good opportunity for her to open her account providing she keeps up the good run of form after a sequence of placed efforts. Even if she does find one or two too good again, she is a solid choice to at least hit the frame.

16.50 – Radio Wyvern – Where Worcester Comes First Handicap Hurdle – 2m7f
KARAVOMYLOS will start a warm favourite for this race, who was second in two consecutive events before gaining a first win at Uttoxeter when beating the 105-rated Wavering Down. If he can repeat that performance in this easier race, the follow-up success could be on the cards as that is his best form on offer.
