12.45 – Visit racingtv.com Amateur Jockeys’ Handicap Chase – 2m4f

A highly competitive opener with the top vote in favour of last year’s winner, KILBREW BOY, who claimed the prize from a 5Ib higher mark under Charlie Case and looked on the way back to form when fourth over hurdles recently.

FRESH NEW DAWN is generally consistent and only found an unexposed rival too strong at Warwick last time out. He’s been equipped with first-time cheekpieces, which could prove beneficial and he shouldn’t be far away from an unchanged mark.

SAFFRON WELLS isn’t getting any younger, but he’s more than capable of making his presence felt in a race of this nature. He’s invariably gone well fresh in the past and simply can’t be discounted.

Selections: KILBREW BOY, FRESH NEW DAWN, SAFFRON WELLS

13.15 – Watch Racing TV In Stunning HD Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle – 2m5f

KILMINGTON ROSE proved a disappointment when fading out of contention at Exeter when last seen, but she reportedly had a breathing problem, so she’s worth one more chance to build on her earlier promise.

MIDNIGHT CALLISTO was decent in bumpers last season and although she failed to match that level on hurdling debut last month, there’s no doubt she’s better than that and a better performance can be expected here.

Selections: KILMINGTON ROSE, MIDNIGHT CALLISTO

13.45 – Racing TV Profits Returned To Racing ‘National Hunt’ Novices’ Handicap Hurdle – 2m5f

Neil Mulholland’s TANGO BOY made an excellent return to action when fifth at Cheltenham last month. He travelled powerfully throughout the race, slicing through the field before only keeping on at the same pace up the hill. That was a much stronger race in comparison to this event, and from an unchanged mark with that run under his belt, he’s likely to be sharper and can gain his first win over timber under Tom Scudamore.

Selections: TANGO BOY

14.15 – Weatherbys Racing Bank Silver Buck Handicap Chase – 3m1f

The Venetia Williams-trained REALM KEEPER was fairly useful when trained in France and has shaped with plenty of promise in both starts for connections. He remains the type to make his mark in handicaps from a 4Ib lower mark provided by the assessor.

David Pipe’s WHAT A MOMENT has a squeak from a lenient mark of 115. He currently sits 15Ib lower than when last successful and although lightly-raced for his age, he shaped well when sixth at Cheltenham last month and will find this race arguably easier.

DARLAC ran well when runner-up behind the promising Enrilo at Exeter last month looks on a good mark back in handicap company on the basis of that form with Robbie Power maintaining the partnership.

Selections: REALM KEEPER, WHAT A MOMENT, DARLAC

14.45 – Use The racingtv.com Tracker Handicap Hurdle – 1m7f

The hat-trick seeking THAHAB IFRAJ looks the most glaring option in the field. He already has course-and-distance winning form to his name and escapes a penalty for his latest success. In receipt of weight from all his rivals, this much-improved seven-year-old should take plenty of beating.

RIVER BRAY is a quirky character, but he’s more than good enough to beat this field if on a going day. He’s often been in the thick of the action in better quality events beforehand and was going well when last seen before unseating his rider three out. As a result, his mark has been left unaltered, so he looks a serious each-way player.

Selections: THAHAB IFRAJ, RIVER BRAY

15.15 – Weatherbys Racing Bank Foreign Exchange Handicap – 3m2f

A weak enough race to round off this preview in particular, but LET’S GO DUCHESS has been running consistently of late to suggest her turn might be on the horizon. His mark has continued to slide, coincidentally, to a career low-mark and I’m hopeful she’ll be competitive.

Whilst GREAT TEMPO might struggle for consistency, he’s on an appealing mark and should strip fitter for his reappearance at Ffos Las which had the feeling of a return to form to be quite possible, so he has to be respected .

Selections: LET’S GO DUCHESS, GREAT TEMPO
