Let’s have a look at the best winners over the past week as we near the end of the flat season in Racing, plus we’ve also seen a crazy seven days of football…

Nailing a La Liga Pick 3

The highly anticipated Madrid derby saw the start of an all-La Liga Pick 3 pool on Saturday. Madrid’s previous game against Sevilla last week ended in a 3-0 loss and you can’t help but feel the Champions League winners aren’t the same force without Ronaldo. Over 90% of the units were knocked out of the running after the goalless draw on Saturday night – certainly one of the more ideal results for this ticket.

Their leg 2 banker selection came in after a converted penalty from each side. Then, in leg 3, it was the perfect result for them. They had backed a win for either team, but crucially it was the underdogs who stole a 1-0 win away at El Madrigal. Villarreal even missed a penalty and the chance to equalise in the 83rd minute which will have been a huge relief to the punter as they went on to win.

2.49 Units won the pool, with this customer’s £12 ticket winning £2,080. Nice job.

MLT Place 6 Syndicate wins on 96 lines!

It’s only recently that My Little Tip has come on to the scene as a Syndicate Captain and he has done so to great success. Followers that joined his £200 Syndicate into Thursday’s Place 6 at Pontefract will have been pleased to see multiple placed horses in the first three races. Race four threw in a curveball as Gin In The Inn (25/1) ran home to victory, but MLT managed to predict Hee Haw placing in 3rd – the only placed horse of their five selections!

Race 5, though, was another cracker for the Syndicate as they had four placed horses (Frontispiece, a Non-Runner, was changed on to the favourite, Francis Xavier). Another two places in the final race tallied up to 96 total winning lines!

Contributing 10% to this Syndicate would have cost you £20 and returned you a solid £191.

MLT lead another Syndicate to a win later that night. He’s likely to be high on the Leaderboard come Tuesday.

One of the week’s best Consolation prizes

This also came from a Racing pool, this time at Newmarket in the Win 6. Impressively, they ignored their Cash Out offers throughout the course of the pool. The customer’s single line ticket went into the last race needing the Drill (the 9/4 fave) to go an incredible 6/6 which would have returned a jaw-dropping £12,500!

Unfortunately for the customer, Byron Flyer ran home in first to put an end to their chance of £12,500. But, thanks to Consolations they were returned £712 from a £1 ticket! Hardly a Consolation…

That £3.1k win from a Pick 8 ticket

Our Sunday Pick 8 kicked off at 14:00 with three Serie A games and a Ligue 1 game. This Solo punter had full cover on the Ligue 1 game between Rennes and Toulouse which ended in a draw. Burnley managed to do the business over Cardiff for them as well as home wins for both Augsburg and Parma. They predicted that Lille would run out winners at home against Marseille, who were without their star player Dmitri Payet. Lille duly obliged, eliminating 9.76 units from a remaining 13.1 out of the running for the £10,000 Jackpot.

Their £12 ticket won them £3,115. An absolutely cracking win. Well done that punter!
