Not many to consider so the one I’m siding with is SO YOU KNOW. He beat a subsequent winner on hurdles debut and was by no means disgraced behind a useful prospect at Market Rasen when last seen. Off a figure of 111, with his rider taking 10lb off that, I can see him making a serious impact.

It would come as a surprise if WILSTAR couldn’t at least make the places. He made it third time lucky in this sphere at Southwell last month and that win could give him the confidence to now kick on. With more to come, Olly Murphy’s charge seems the safe option.

ROAD TO WEMBLEY was a pretty useful sort on the Flat for Richard Hughes, winning and placing in multiple events and could have a huge part to play on hurdles/stable debut for Olly Murphy. He is likely to improve for the run given he’s refunding from an absence but this isn’t a deep event, so he’s selected to go well.

I’m keen to give a chance to JUKEBOX KING, who has left something to work on after two starts and has been handed a nice mark of 110 for handicap debut. He’s sure to improve and could easily make the frame. The hat-trick seeking GOT A DREAM scored over C&D last time out and is the obvious alternative.

15.40 Get The Best Odds With Oddschecker Mares’ Handicap Chase
A small but select field with the marginal vote going to SHE IS FOR ME BOYS. She fluffed her lines at Wetherby when last seen but is better judged on her previous form and has already won three of her six career starts. Off a very handy mark of 108, I’ll be surprised if she can’t give the favourite the most to think about.

16.13 Oddschecker Cheltenham Free Bets Handicap Hurdle
This is a good race. BIG CADILLAC is interesting stepping up markedly in trip on handicap debut and has no weight on his back. He could be the answer, though PORTER IN THE PARK is dropped in grade and could be set to go well following a mini break. None of the others can be ruled out including top weight Super Survivor.
