Warwick Place 6 Preview | 4th November
13.02 PricedUp.Bet Juvenile Maiden Hurdle
The opener can go the way of SCARLET MOON, who is expected to take a major step forward from his hurdles debut third at Sedgefield.
In spite of returning as a beaten favourite, there were positives to take from his effort.
He achieved a decent level of form on the Flat, so with that latest experience under his belt, Archie Watson’s contender can go close.
Tips: SCARLET MOON
13.32 PricedUp Novices’ Hurdle
Ice In The Veins was well beaten last time out and preference is for hurdle debutant MOON OVER AMERICA.
Representing a stable bang in-form, the five-year-old shaped promisingly when runner-up on his sole bumper start at Ffos Las and has the makings to advance his form in this sphere.
Tips: MOON OVER AMERICA
14.02 Stan Mellor Memorial ‘Chasing Excellence’ Beginners’ Chase
With race fitness on his side following a spin in the Silver Trophy at Chepstow, it’s intriguing to see JOSH THE BOSS tackle a fence.
The six-year-old bolted up on his only previous course outing and is eased in grade ahead of his chase debut. His stable continues to do no wrong so far this season.
Tips: JOSH THE BOSS
14.32 PricedUp Daily Sports Boosts Handicap Hurdle
I’m really liking the look of the grade-dropping EL BORRACHO, who will be having his first ever start at this lower level. His last hurdle success came off a 12lb higher mark in a class 3 event, while his peak chase win mark was 134.
The 10-year-old is also a C&D winner off a mark of 127, so with Ben Smith taking off an additional 7lb, meaning he is in this off a career low mark of 97, there’s plenty to like. His best form would entitle him to outclass his rivals.
Tips: EL BORRACHO
15.02 JETS Richard Davis Awards 30th Anniversary Handicap Chase
It wasn’t much of a race TEDWIN HILLS won last time out, but the way he went about his business to score by an easy eight and a half lengths suggests he might be able to defy this 10lb higher mark.
Prior to that win, he looked unlucky at Fontwell, so he’s clearly in good heart and can go in again.
Tips: TEDWIN HILLS
15.32 PricedUp The Jumps Handicap Chase
Top-weight MYTHE BRIDGE has only found one too good on both chase starts to date and might prove capable of making a successful return in a pretty winnable event.
He is dropped in grade off an unchanged mark since his second place effort at Chepstow back in April.
Tips: MYTHE BRIDGE
