TACKLING THE £2,000,000 FREEPLAY6

There were close calls galore in last weekend’s FreePlay6 – not to mention one punter being a single Spurs goal away from taking 6/6. Where’s Harry Kane when you need him aye? Hopefully the consolation of £1,279 for 5/6 softened the blow a little bit! Anyway, business as usual, you know the drill. Pick one correct score outcome in each of the fixtures listed, then wait for the Cash Out offer…it’s an all Premier League affair this time around. Should be easy…

West Ham vs Stoke – Sat, Nov 05 15:00
After steadying the ship in their three previous games prior to their 2-0 loss at Everton last Sunday, West Ham return to London Stadium for the visit of inform Stoke.

The Potters are unbeaten in their last six against West Ham and I’m going for more Stratford misery for the home side here too.

Prediction: West Ham 0-1 Stoke

Bournemouth vs Sunderland – Sat, Nov 05 15:00
David Moyes’ Sunderland go to Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth looking to take their league points total to more than that of a triangle in leg two. But Howe’s men are a tough nut to crack at home (L1 W3 D1) – so I can only see more misery for Moyes here.

Good as Arsenal were at times last Saturday at The Stadium of Light in their 4-1 win – Sunderland look bereft of ideas and pretty damn hopeless throughout. At best, a consolation goal for Defoe against his former club this Saturday…

Prediction: Bournemouth 3-1 Sunderland

Chelsea vs Everton – Sat, Nov 05 17:30
Since their pounding at the Emirates in late September, Chelsea have not looked back. Conte’s new system has seen them win their last four in the league without conceding a goal and they looked imperious against Southampton on Sunday throughout.

Everton meanwhile have had a sticky patch, but will take comfort from their first win in five in the league – an easy 2-0 disposal of West Ham. 4th vs 6th – another win to nil for the home side.

Prediction: Chelsea 1-0 Everton

Arsenal vs Tottenham – Sun, Nov 06 12:00
Tie of the pool, tie of the weekend. This is the most entertaining game of the Premier League season for my money. Ill tempered, prickly, frantic pace, down the years we’ve had 5-2’s, 4-4’s, 4-5’s, 2-3’s, 3-3’s, 2-2’s, you name it, we’ve seen it. So is it time to use ‘Any Other’? Not for me.

Spurs remain unbeaten and coupled with the fact that there has been no 0-0 in this fixture at the home of the Gunners since 1998 – how can I not go for a belter of a nil nil!

Prediction: Arsenal 0-0 Tottenham

Hull vs Southampton – Sun, Nov 06 14:15
Whilst they have stopped shipping quite so many goals of late, Hull are still losing. With a squad that seems thinner than a wet Wednesday night kick about at your local leisure center, it’s hard to see Hull not playing Championship football in 12 months time.

To make matters worse, Southampton are somewhat of a bogey team for them (along with the other 18 teams in the league), losing all six previous H2H’s – with the last three all being wins to nil (0-1, 0-1, 0-2).

Prediction: Hull 0-1 Southampton

Leicester vs West Brom – Sun, Nov 06 16:30
We finish with champions Leicester, who’ve looked a bit more like the Leicester of last season, coming off the back of a credible draw at Tottenham. They host West Brom in leg six – who you simply cannot back to win away (one win in eleven).

But after a Champions League away trip, it may take some oomph out of the Foxes, so I’m plumping for a draw with plenty of goals. The last three H2H’s read 2-2, 2-3 and 2-3 after all…

Prediction: Any Other Draw
