AS LEGENDS HAVE IT is proving to be extremely consistent and turned in another solid display when runner-up at Cheltenham a few weeks ago. There’s no reason why he can’t advance his form over fences, so a second career win could be firmly on the cards.

LIVY’S LAD improved out of all recognition to score over C&D on chase debut 18 days ago and he appears the sort of horse that could rack up a sequence. With plenty more to come, Nick Gifford’s charge is just about the one to beat.

TYPHOON WARRIOR showed plenty of promise when fourth on debut at Worcester and any sort of step forward from that effort should see him difficult to beat under the in-form Tristan Durrell.

LOOPING D’ARC could be the answer to this trappy event. He was beaten by eight lengths first time out at Newbury but that was a solid introduction and there’s a good chance he’ll be more streetwise to the task in hand this time.
Tips: LOOPING D’ARC

A lot of these arrive on the back of poor efforts, with the exception of two, including DUEL AU SOLEIL. Ben Pauling’s charge has improved with each run in this sphere and was a good winner at Wetherby when last seen. The step up in trip can see him follow up.

BALLYHIHO came within a neck of recording back-to-back wins at Worcester when second by a whisker when last seen but I doubt this 5lb higher mark will prevent another bold bid. This actually looks like a weaker event, so he should have little trouble getting back to winning ways.
Tips: BALLYHIHO
