Royal Ascot Win 6 Preview | 21st June

14.30 Chesham Stakes

Debutante winners TREANMOR, MOMENT OF JOY and HUMIDITY all could turn out to be above-average and have leading claims, while THESECRETADVERSARY, who only found one too good first-time-out is another to consider.

Tips: TREANMOR, THESECRETADVERSARY, HUMIDITY & MOMENT OF JOY

15.05 Hardwicke Stakes

REBEL’S ROMANCE will be difficult to beat but AL RIFFA bolted up in a Group 1 in Germany on his only previous start over this distance and has warmed up for this with two good efforts in defeat this year and should benefit from the drop down in class.

His second to City Of Troy in last year’s Coral-Eclipse reads well when a place in front of GHOSTWRITER who was getting a lot of weight from him. They meet on level terms this time, so he should be able to confirm his superiority.

Tips: AL RIFFA, REBEL’S ROMANCE & GHOSTWRITER

15.40 Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes

FLORA OF BERMUDA made Inisherin pull out the stops last time out, yet she’s available at much bigger odds, and could hardly be in better form heading into the Jubilee Stakes.

She came close to winning the Champions Sprint over C&D last season and ran well to finish fourth in the Sprint Cup at Haydock where she would have finished even closer with a clear sight. I like her chances along with SATONO REVE.

Tips: FLORA OF BERMUDA & SATONO REVE

16.20 Jersey Stakes

SARACEN bolted up on his debut at the Curragh last autumn on his only start of 2024 and was then put away until he rocked up in the Group 3 Greenham Stakes at Newbury on his seasonal reappearance when third. Open to further improvement with that run under his belt, I think he’s a big player. The unbeaten REMMOOZ also goes on the ticket.

Tips: SARACEN & REMMOOZ

17.00 Wokingham Stakes

Course specialist JARRAAF produced an eye-catching return last time out and this race should be right up his street. He can go well, and so can last year’s third ORAZIO and bottom weight HOLKHAM BAY, who has two wins and a second from three starts at the course. Three against the field.

Tips: JARRAAF, ORAZIO & HOLKHAM BAY

17.35 Golden Gates Stakes

SERAPH GRABRIEL could be well handicapped, but TYCOON was last seen running well to finish third to Amiloc in a Listed event at Goodwood, and the winner boosted the form by winning yesterday’s King Edward. Purchased by Kia (Amo Racing) earlier this week at a cost of £600,000 in order to run in this race, I think he’s outrun his odds.

Tips: SERAPH GABRIEL & TYCOON
