Nice v St Etienne

Nice are unbeaten in their last seven games as they play host to an out-of-sorts St Etienne. St Etienne have lost four of ther last five games and five straight on their travels so we can’t see them pulling off a shock at the Allianz Riviera, especially with Mario Balotelli among the goals recently.

Prediction: Home Win

Lazio v Chievo

Lazio are aiming a top four finish in Serie A and they go into Sunday’s clash with Chievo unbeaten in their last five games. Lazio are the second top scorers in Serie A and they will fancy their chances of getting the among the goals against a Chievo side who have failed to win in six, losing four of those games.

Prediction: Home Win

Sampdoria v Fiorentina

Sampdoria play host to Fiorentina aiming to maintain their fine home for this season. Sampdoria have won seven of their nine games at Stadio Luigi Ferraris this term, but Fiorentina will be a tough nut to crack as the Viola are unbeaten in their last four away from home. Both sides have goals in them so it should be a high-scoring, entertaining affair.

Prediction: Home Win, Draw or Away Win

Sassuolo v Torino

Sassuolo take on Torino looking to improve on their home record of just two wins from nine games. They did manage to beat Inter in their last home game and they will be looking to boost their surival hopes with another three points against Torino. Torino are in decent form as they are unbeaten in their last four away from Turin and will be hopeful of securing a positive result in Sassuolo.

Prediction: Away Win or Draw

Pick 8

Southampton v Spurs

Spurs will be looking to keep up the pressure on the top four when they visit struggling Southampton. Spurs have won four of their last five Premier League games and they thumped Southampton 5-2 on Boxing Day. Southampton have won just one of their last 14 games and face a real relegation fight so it has to be an away win here for Spurs.

Prediction: Away Win

Cagliari v AC Milan

AC Milan travel to lowly Cagliari aiming to move into the top half of the table after a disastrous 2017. Milan are unbeaten in their last three games, while Cagliari have picked up just one win from their last eight outings.  Milan have won three of their last four meetings with Cagliari and they will be seeking to extend it as they look to continue their upward curve under Gennaro Gattuso.

Prediction: Away Win or Draw

Schalke v Hannover

Schalke are targeting a top two finish in the Bundesliga as they prepare to welcome Hannover to the VELTINS-Arena. Schalke have won four out of their last five at home, while Hannover’s form on their travels is nothing to write home about it having lost five of their last six games and Schalke should prove too strong in this one.

Prediction: Home Win

Inter v Roma

Both sides will be looking to get their campaigns back on track in the biggest game in Serie A this weekend. Inter have hit a sticky patch of late failing to win any of their las five, while Roma have just one in their last five outings to see them drop off the pace with the leading pack. Both sides have struggled for goals in recent weeks and this looks like it could be a close, cagey encounter between two sides out of form.

Prediction: Home Win, Draw or Away Win
