Perth Place 6 preview | 2nd August

14.10 – Auto Services Perth Ltd. Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle – 2m4f

WHAT WILL BE has been mixing it over hurdles and on the Flat this year and has fallen to a dangerous mark, while IDILICO has made the frame in his two recent starts on the level and is a former C&D winner with lots of wins and placed efforts off higher marks. PRINCE NINO has placed off this mark twice of late and is feared too.

Tips: What Will Be, Idilico, Prince Nino

14.45 – Jock Meikle Handicap Hurdle – 2m7f

DALILEO ran well in a higher-grade race when second over C&D last-time-out and is a player with a repeat performance. CONFELICITY will make her handicap debut off a basement mark and could step forward on what she has shown to date, while GO BOB GO won here from a 2Ib higher mark back in September and can also pose a threat.

Tips: Dalileo, Confelicity, Go Bob Go

15.20 – Auto Services Perth Ltd. Handicap Chase – 2m7f

SPARK OF MADNESS hardly runs a bad race in the races he doesn’t win and is back on his last winning mark. He has been thereabouts in his last couple of starts and might be competitive, while ECOSSAIS is well-handicapped on the pick of his form and cannot be ruled out.

Tips: Spark Of Madness, Ecossais

15.55 – Auto Services Perth Ltd. Handicap Chase – 2m

WASDELL DUNDALK would have finished a lot closer here last time without a costly blunder at the worst possible time. He can be given another chance as he is 17Ib below his last winning mark. I also like JACKHAMMER who is a former C&D winner and has finished second in both chase starts. He surely has more to offer in this sphere.

Tips: Wasdell Dundalk, Jackhammer

16.30 – Auto Services Perth Ltd. Handicap Hurdle – 2m

WELL PLANTED won over C&D last July and split two decent horses when second here last-time-out. He has a good record at this course which reads 3312432 and should be hard to keep out of the frame with Gavin Sheehan an interesting jockey booking as well.

Tips: Well Planted

17.02 – Auto Services Perth Ltd. Open NH Flat Race – 2m

The form of WRECKING BALLBILLY’s debut second at Killarney has worked out well with the fourth scoring since and with Sean Bowen continuing in a rich vein of form, his mount is fancied to confirm that initial promise and justify favouritism in this race.

Tips: Wrecking Ballbilly
