Max Dowman could be Arsenal’s answer to Lamine Yamal
Saturday was very nearly the perfect day for Arsenal. They won their first home league game of the season by putting five goals past Leeds United. Two of them were scored by summer signing Viktor Gyokeres after another new addition Ebere Eze was unveiled before kick off.

‘Frank-ball’ is working well for Tottenham Hotspur
Two games into the 2025/26 season, the top of the Premier League table is currently dominated by North London’s two rival clubs. Of course, it’s far too early to expect it to stay this way, but Tottenham Hotspur have made a faster start to the campaign than many expected having claimed six points from a possible six.

16.50 Step Into Luxury With Purple Granite Handicap Chase This is a tricky opener but ZACONY REBEL appreciated the first-time blinkers when scoring at this course last month. Richarlison is making himself central to Thomas Frank’s masterplan
The only way is up for Tottenham Hotspur this season. It better be otherwise the North London outfit will find themselves in the bottom three having finished 17th last term. Saturday’s 3-0 win over Burnley was a first step towards a positive 2024/25 campaign with Richarlison arguably the most eye-catching player on the pitch.

Are Manchester City being underestimated this season?
Manchester City sent out a rather emphatic message to their Premier League title rivals with a 4-0 win at Wolves on Saturday, and plenty of people have taken notice. It is incredible what a year can do for football narrative.

13.35 Juddmonte EBF Restricted Novice Stakes A competitive opener with my first vote going to SPIRIT OF THE WOOD. He ran a race full of promise when third at Musselburgh on debut and should be well suited to the step up to a mile.
