NFL betting tips: Packers to keep Bears at bay

With the Pick 7 Rollover now well over £200,000, NFLGirlUK is back with her preview of the upcoming NFL action, and she thinks the Green Bay Packers with give the bears a tough weekend. If you agree with her NFL betting tips, join her Syndicate here.

Pats at Bengals

Sunday, 18:00

‘We’re on to Cincinnati’. For all the teeth gnashing of the continued struggles of the Patriots offense last week, with better officiating they could have beaten the Chiefs. The defense shut down Mahomes in the second half and the offense did move the ball a bit better. The Bengals are a better team than their record suggests and have been in most games recently even if they haven’t come away with the win. The Patriots won’t allow many points put up against them so the offense only needs to do just enough on Sunday. And they will.

NFL betting tips: Patriots 7-12 13-18

Seahawks at Panthers

Sunday, 18:00

In the last four weeks Russell Wilson has not been the Russell Wilson we saw in the first half of the season. The never-ending tight end injury list, combined with Tyler Lockett playing hurt and some poor pass protection has meant the run game has been leaned on significantly.

Now Penny is out for the season it’s time for Wilson and the pass game to pick up more of the slack again. Against a five game losing streak Panthers it might be the perfect opportunity. The Seahawks defense creates turnovers and big plays but might be susceptible to Christian McCaffrey having a big day. Most Seattle games have been close wins, we’ll probably see another one here.

NFL betting tips: Seahawks 1-6 7-12

Bears at Packers

Sunday, 18:00

The Bears have won three in a row and are still in the race. The Green Bay Packers are currently the number two seed in the NFC but it doesn’t feel like they’ve played consistently well for a while. They finish the season now with three straight games against division opponents. If the big one is against the Vikings next week, they’d be mistaken to overlook a resurgent Chicago with Mitch Trubisky having dampened some of the calls for him to be benched. It’s a while since we’ve seen a big Aaron Rodgers performance and this probably isn’t the defense to do it against either. Aaron Jones could have a big game though. Edge to the Green Bay Packers.

Texans at Titans

Sunday, 18:00

There’s no more Jekyll and Hyde team in the NFL than the Texans. Capable of beating or losing to anyone. There aren’t many more in-form teams in the NFL than the Titans. Since they moved to Ryan Tannerhill at quarterback they’ve flown under the radar to top the AFC South and now face off against Houston in a game that’ll go a long way to determining the division winner.

It’s hard to be confident in a team who just lost a Drew Lock quarterbacked Broncos and the Texans defense is a unit that doesn’t deserve any trust. They’re 27th in DVOA and could be the reason they end up on the outside come January. Mike Vrabel has always had his team playing hard, especially on defense, but now they have a quarterback playing at a level to compliment the run game. You can’t ever count out the Texans because they can score quickly from anywhere but you have to favour the Titans here at home.

NFL betting tips: Texans 1-6, Titans 1-6 7-12

Rams at Cowboys

Sunday, 21:25

The Rams are back in the playoff hunt due to some rediscovery of form in the passing game and getting Todd Gurley running again. The Cowboys are still in the playoff hunt due solely to the incompetence and ugliness of the NFC East. Dallas haven’t beaten anyone with a winning record this season so something will need to change if Head Coach Jason Garrett is going to reverse his dead man walking status.

The Cowboys are coming off a ten day break which will help and they’re at home. The Rams have looked much better on defense recently but will be tested on the ground by Zeke Elliott this week as Dallas go back to basics. They missed a high 19 tackles in the game against the Bears last Thursday so a big improvement will be needed to halt the resurgent Rams in a must win game. Can see this going either way, a solid Cowboy win or an ugly loss that’ll pile more pressure on Garrett.

NFL betting tips: Rams 13-18 Cowboys 7-12

Bills at Steelers

Monday, 01:20

Two teams that’ll go as far as their defenses take them this season. For the Steelers to be in the playoff hunt at this stage is a testament to Mike Tomlin, the offense ranks 30th in DVOA which goes against all we are told about the modern NFL. The defense ranks 3rd so it’ll be a tough ask for the Buffalo offense on Sunday night who just struggled against 4th best Baltimore. This is going to be low scoring because Buffalo made Lamar Jackson look ordinary last week and Duck Hodges and the Steelers offense are nowhere close to the ability of the Ravens. This is an old school 13-10 type of game that could go either way.

NFL betting tips: Bills 1-6 Steelers 1-6

Colts at Saints

Tuesday, 01:15

It’s now or never for the Colts. They probably couldn’t have a worse game to face in that scenario; a game against a wounded Saints who played great on offense in an epic against the 49ers and facing a defense that’ll be keen to reassert itself. The Colts also lost a wild one last week against the Bucs and it feels like the season is slipping through Indianapolis’s fingers after looking so promising at the halfway stage. It could be the end of the road for the Colts this week as the Saints win a big one.

NFL betting tips: Saints 19-24
