He has course form courtesy of his fourth in a Listed event here back in February and will make his first outing for seven barrows. HARBOUR ISLAND is another to consider.

12.45 Coral Racing Club Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase

SECRET DES DIEUX jumped very well when successful on chase debut at Fakenham and is well worth his place in this higher grade. Aintree winner MAMBONUMBERFIVE won a Grade 2 over hurdles earlier this year and could be set to go close, while CAPTAIN BELLAMY has the potential to do well over the larger obstacles.

13.15 Coral ‘Daily Rewards Shaker’ Fillies’ Juvenile Hurdle

A lot of these can be considered. HIGHLAND CRYSTAL won by 14 lengths on hurdles debut at Punchestown and could be a bit special based on that performance, so she’s heavily respected for Elliott and Gainford. TRALEE GIRL finished third in a Listed event at Wetherby and is open to improvement. Don’t rule out a bold showing from either WONDERFULWONDERFUL or KATE O’RILEY. The latter placed in a Grade 2 event at Cheltenham earlier this month.

13.50 Coral John Francome Novices’ Chase

This is a warm renewal of this illustrious Grade 2 event, and while this is his first run over fences, REGENT’S STROLL gets the vote to make a statement. Unbeaten in three bumpers, including a course win, he was turned over a couple of times over hurdles at short odds but bolted up on debut in that sphere at this venue and was last seen going close in a Grade 1 at Aintree when only denied by half a length. Great chance with a bright future.

14.25 Join Coral Bet 10 Get 50′ Handicap Chase

TELEPATHIQUE proved no match for the progressive Paggane on her return at Carlisle but the change in tactics didn’t see her to best effect and reverting to a positive ride with fitness on her side can see her back to winning ways. of the remainder, I’ll also include HELTENHAM, who could have a say in the outcome for the bang in-form Skelton duo.

15.00 Coral Long Distance Hurdle

In the Long Distance Hurdle, I’m sticking with STRONG LEADER who can record back-to-back wins in the feature race on the card. Olly Murphy’s star stayer made heavy weather of scoring on return at Wetherby but he was only getting going late on, and with fitness on his side, there’s no doubt this Grade 1 winner will be very difficult to beat. AHOY SENOR could surprise a few back over hurdles.
